Dankwambo/Amtai political feud, Group calls for quick Security interventions.

A Youths Socio-Political group known as North East Actions for Good Governance NEAGG condemned in strong terms an alleged attacked on the Residence of one comrade Amtai Ali Sa'idu in a suburb of Gombe, Gombe State. In a statement signed by the group National Coordinator Comrade Mustapha Abdulkadir on Monday described the incident as regrettable and unfortunate. According to the group,this development came after the victim himself accused the Senator Representing Gombe North of threatening him over his Facebook post on 19th December,2023. As Nigerians who are governed by the constitution of the country,we see no reason why our political elites should be taken laws into their hands instead of approaching the courts. Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. The suspension has the endorsement of the two third majority of the members of the Students Representatives Assembly, National Union of Yobe State Students NUYOSS. They statement barred the suspended President from the premises of the Union untill further directives while investigations are ongoing for the period of two weeks which the said leadership will issue further directives on the matter in question. A civil society group known as Coalition of Civil society Network has petitioned the inspector general of Police Kayode Egbetokun to investigate and Prosecute Inspector Dalhatu Hammawa Dauda. In a letter signed by the group coordinator John Danladi and made available to newsmen in Abuja on Friday,calls for urgent arrest and prosecution for an alleged abused office and unprofessional misconduct. They accused inspector Dalhatu of unauthorized sale of appointments and fraudulent activities in NATCOM and absconding from duty while ,he is been paid by the Federal Government as a serving Nigerian Police officer.  The letter reads.
