A reknowned business man turn Politician and  Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of KK Oil and Gas Alh. Abdullahi M. Kokari has called on the rulling All Progressive Congress to Former Borno State Governor Senator Ali Modu Sherrif National Chairmanship aspiration.

He was speaking in Yola shortly after the Wedding Fatihah of the daughter of Adamawa State Chairman of the APC during a round table discussion with some Stakeholders of the party within the North East at Muna Hotel Yola.

According to him ,the ruling party urgently need the requisite experience of the Former Borno State who as well served as Senator. Senator Modu has the Political network and vast experience in public life to drive forward the party ahead of the 2023 National elections.

The MD/CEO kk oil and gas described Senator Sheriff as the man the rulling party urgently need to return the party to winning ways. Responding, Alhaji Usman , an ardent supporter of the party from Gombe State said the North East will  overwhelmingly support the aspiration Senator Ali Modu Sherrif been a son of the region.

Alhaji Kokari disclose that efforts are on the way to ensure that Advocacy for the declaration of support to Senator Ali Modu Sherrif National Chairmanship aspiration will soon floard the North and the country at large. As I am telling you, immediately after Yola it is Borno State the home town of the former Governor and later to other States of the federation. He added .

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC).
