Demola will consolidate the Democratic Core Values in Ekiti State: Rt.Hon. Rahama.

The immediate past Speaker of the Northern Youths Assembly of Nigeria and the National Chairman of APC Youths Progressive Forum Rt.Hon. Ukkasha Hamza Rahama has called on the people of the Ekiti State to effectively utilise the chance of making  the great again by supporting the aspiration of Demola Popoola ahead of the State Governoship elections.

He made this called today in Abuja in a brief discussion with our correspondent in Abuja at All Progressive Congress National Secretariat immediately after Demola Popoola submitted his nomination form.He described Demola as the best Candidates to the people of EKiti State.

As a party man and leader of the of APC Youths Progressive Forum in Nigeria.I am confident that if Damola is elected Governor and he consolidate on the achievements of Governor Fayemi of his rich experience in Politics and Governance.

 He Maintained that as Demola as a  prominent member of All Progressive Congress and someone who has laboured so much for the rulling party to strives in Ekiti and the country at large will in no doubt led the party to victory at the Polls.

Demola Popoola is a very proactive individual, an accomplished good businessman, a  philanthropist,an aviation expert ,who was born as a last child of seven in the family of Late pa Emmanuel and Deaconess Florence Popoola , some 50years ago in Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State. 

He had his primary education at Salvation Army Primary School and his secondary school in Onireke Secondary school both in Ibadan Oyo State. This young man of no mean repute never had a rest on a shoulder as he stood to his hills so as to garner knowledge in Estate Management from the University of Ife, now known as Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife.

As the nation approach the general elections,Nigerians will be looking up to EKiti State one of the strong hold of the APC to see the kind of leadership the party may produce during the primaries. We are confident that his election will add value to the party at the national level to move very strong during the Presidential elections. Ukkasha added.

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. The suspension has the endorsement of the two third majority of the members of the Students Representatives Assembly, National Union of Yobe State Students NUYOSS. By: John Ephraim The National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal holding at Bauchi in the matter of rerun election into the office of senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for Plateau North Senatorial District held on 3rd February, 2024 on Friday, reserved judgement in the petition filed by Yakub Muhammad Shafiu and his NNPP against INEC, Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom, ADP. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
