APC Youths Progressive Forum Borno State Chapter reiterates Support to Almakura National Chairmanship.

The leadership of APC Youths Progressive Forum has reiterate their Commitment towards sustainaining the gains and securing the future of the ruling party ahead of the 2023 Presidential elections.

The group converged in Borno State for  a Press Conference under the aegis of APC Youths Progressive Forum, Borno State Chapter calling on the leadership and stakeholders of the rulling All Progressive Congress to support the emergence of Senator Umaru Tanko Almakura as National Chairmanship.

The Press Conference was red  by  the National Chairman of APC Youths Progressive Forum Rt. Hon. Ukkasha Hamza Rahama on behalf of the Borno State Chapter described Senator Almakura ass the man at the moment to change the narratives in the next National Convention that will mark as the beginning of an emerging new Nigeria.

Also Speaking is the Sadiq K.  Abubakar ,the Chairman of All Progressive Congress Borno State Chapter calls on the rulling party to ensure that Senator Umaru Tanko Almakura emerge as the party National Chairman. Below is the full text of the Press Conference.

PRESS CONFERENCE DELIVERED BY APC PROGRESSIVE FORUM BORNO STATE CHAPTER.

Let me to start by  commending the decision reach at the National Exacutive Council of our great party, the All Progressive Congress (APC), under the able and dynamic leadership of His Excellency, Hon. Mai mala Buni, National Chairman Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planing Committee (CECPC) and Yobe State Governor for zoning the position of National Chairman to North Central. 

We cannot be as mighty as we are today without grievances and intricacies though they are the bridges that measures our success and determine our weaknesses. It is on the light of the above that,I wish to Congratulates our party on the successful conduct of congresses from ward, local government and States level.

Nigerians most especially the Members of our great party are anticipating high with their ears widely open not for the convention date and venue but who may emerge after remain a subject of great concerns. We are glad that in all the States and the party Stakeholders consulted so far Senator Umaru Tanko Almakura remain the only viable option to remodel and take the rulling APC to winning ways once again.

The National Convention will be a great opportunity for us to strengthen our bones and institutionalise internal democracy processes as a panacea of rebuilding the party towards the phase of Nigerian 2023 anticipated National elections.

My fellow Progressive,s, ladies and gentlemen, before the National convention, it's a tradition that aspirants would first declare interest virying for one seat or the other, zoned or micro zoned to their respective constituency.Senator Umar Tanko Almakura having been one of the nation respected nationalist alive is coming at the time the rulling party needs him most because of his long good track records in Governance as a former Governor and now Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

 Nigerians as a whole and the rulling APC in particular would witness a tremendous and a dynamic changes for positive and accelerated political development if he emerge the National Chairman.Senator Almakura is bonified Democrat. His wealth of experience in Politics and Governance in Nigeria earned him the Status of a Political General as many called him in his State of Nasarawa State and the nation as a whole.

Life is the best teacher and it is no doubt that Almakura Journey to greatness has thought him countless lessons that pages cannot contain. He was Youth leader of NPN, a former Secretary of NRC, a founding Member of APC from the merger level through CPC as a Serving Governor of Nassarawa State. His courageous stands to propagate the needs to support the emergence of the new era of leadership in Nigeria led by President Muhammadu Buhari is the reason why currently he remain the only option to revive the rulling All Progressive Congress after our National Convention.

The wisdom behind Senator Almakura's aspiration is to ensure cohesion and unity of the party as well safeguarding the tanets and the legacies of President Muhammadu Buhari administration so also ensuring the values of the party are kept alive.
He was part of  the merger as the only surviving Governor from the opposition Congress for Progressive Change. It means he knows the history,the problems and the Solutions that will further sustain the gains and secure the future of the rulling All Progressive Congress ahead of the nation General elections in 2023.

APC under his watch will be Committed in building  harmony ,Peace and Unity of Nigeria been a detrablised Politician that gave it all Democracy to strive. As a members of the APC Youths Progressive Forum Borno State Chapter, We are making this Declaration today before the Press knowing fully that Senator Umaru Tanko Almakura has all its takes to revive the rulling APC if elected National Chairman.

We shall be this note, We want to appeal to the Party delegates and the critical Stakeholders to ensure that our party get  the best on February 26th and the best is the Former Governor of Nasarawa State Distinguished Senator Umaru Tanko Almakura National Chairmanship. It has been said that only God is perfect but he is an Excellent Politician to redeem the image of the rulling party Insha'Allah.

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. The suspension has the endorsement of the two third majority of the members of the Students Representatives Assembly, National Union of Yobe State Students NUYOSS. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
