THE EDUCATED SOUTH: Comr.Danaudi

The history of Nigeria is incomplete without mentioning in gold pen the contributions of the Northern Nigeria to the actualization to what is called Nigeria today . The likes of late Tafawa Balewa the golden of voice of Africa who died in active service to his fellow country of which he was instrumental to its independence and served as the first prime minister of Nigeria . The late Ahmadu Bello the Sardauna of Sokoto and to many to mention who shared their good intend to make Nigeria truly great .

As time flies from 1960 almost 60 years after independence ,Nigeria is still in search of direction and it seem we are boarded a flight who's pilots find it difficult to locate our final destination and it is we are still rowling within a single degree . The irony is that it seem we are much comfortable with the system that has failed woefully to pay 60 years after . We are left the system unchallenged especially when the North has the power and on this ,The theory and the assertion ,Educated South and power North seem to be very true because it seem the North are comfortable with power only while the South are comfortable with education ,development and business .

This is painful indeed but it is indeed very true . What is the poverty rate in the north and the south ? Oh, it seem the north has become a region with power and billionaires but a dumping refuge of poverty ,illiteracy ,kidnapping ,insecurity ,begging and rape . This is terrible narration indeed and it is very true that the North are only comfortable with power .In the last few decades unfortunate as it is ,hardly we wake up and read a trending developmental story on the front pages of the county's news papers coming from the North yet our political class ,the government and governed seem to be comfortable with the system that is sending us to our early graves .

It is in the North that lived and sleep without a single plan on how tomorrow may look like despite the looming crisis of unemployment ,increased in the number of children that are out of school ,economic and political crisis due to expulsion of population that has no plan for itself . What is Amotekun in the south west telling you ? It tells you that they are taking precautionary measures to curtail the feasible looming insecurity in their region . The south east has grown economically because they have mentors who take bull by its horns to train thousands of young Igbo's in entrepreneurial skills and later empower them to be self sufficient. The North a region where fight emanated between his yaron gida at the tail end of his freedom .

The south is indeed the educated region 60 years after independence while the North is dangling with high rate of poverty, illiteracy, kidnapping ,herdsman and farmers conflict and raping . I weep for my region that move in a in dark mood searching for a way . A journalist was assaulted in cross River by FFK but the they stood with him and force FFK to tendered a public apology .Only education does that and believes me if similar incident may happen to a journalist here in the North then he will be on his own because the North are very comfortable with the system and power at all times . I can tell you that, the growth and development of any nation has a direct bearing with its level of education even Saudi Arabia .

Do you know why the south is educated? Off course yes ,the FFK that insulted the dynasty of the caliphate is now the SADAUKIN SHINKAFI, the same FFK was made to tender an apology for assaulting a dailytrust journalist a newspaper that almost sack their journalist in the North for similar action , The Amotekun that we need more than any region has come to stay in the south ,Resumption date for tertiary institutions has been announced both Lagos and other State of the South while in the North despite number children that dropped out of schools no date for resumption and mind you the Minister of Education is as well from the North.

The North must wake up otherwise the life we live today our generations will meet triple of it complexity .To those who have gone to school and to those in position of authority it must be a collective responsibility to educates our ourselves on the true state of life otherwise we are riding a ship that will later sink all of us in a sea that we may not come out unfortunate as it may be.
