Minister's Allegations: IPAC Bauchi Throws Weight Behind Governor Mohammed

The Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) in Bauchi State has strongly condemned the recent allegations made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, against Governor Bala Mohammed. In a statement signed by its Chairman, Ahmad Isah (Maitakalmin Roba), IPAC described the Minister's actions as "unwarranted" and "mischievous.

The Minister had alleged that Governor Mohammed misused public funds to acquire citizens' properties, particularly in Government Reserved Areas (GRA). However, IPAC has dismissed these allegations as baseless and unfounded. "We urge the Minister to provide proof of his claims or retract them immediately," the statement read.

IPAC also highlighted the success of Governor Mohammed's administration in infrastructural development. "Despite the challenges faced by the state, Governor Mohammed has made significant strides in developing the state's infrastructure," the statement noted. The Governor has invested heavily in road construction, healthcare, and education, transforming the state's landscape and improving the lives of its citizens.

One of the notable achievements of Governor Mohammed's administration is the construction of the Bauchi-Tafawa Balewa road, which has eased transportation and boosted economic activities in the state. The Governor has also invested in the development of the state's healthcare sector, establishing new hospitals and renovating existing ones.

In the education sector, Governor Mohammed's administration has made significant strides, establishing new schools and renovating existing ones. The Governor has also implemented policies aimed at improving the quality of education in the state, including the recruitment of new teachers and the provision of educational materials.

According to IPAC, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, Nigeria's Minister of Foreign Affairs, has a notable background, having served as a Nigerian ambassador to Germany for eight years and as a Member of the Federal House of Representatives. However, despite his impressive resume, IPAC emphasizes that Tuggar has had zero presence in Bauchi.

IPAC strongly condemns Tuggar's recent accusations against Governor Bala Mohammed, viewing them as baseless and politically motivated. They assert that dragging the governor into Tuggar's own failures will not be tolerated or taken seriously by the people of Bauchi State. IPAC's stance is clear: they will not stand idly by while Governor Mohammed's reputation is unfairly tarnished .

IPAC commended Governor Mohammed for his commitment to the development of Bauchi State, despite the challenges faced by the state. "We urge the Governor to continue his good work, despite the distractions and baseless allegations from the Minister," the statement read.

The Council also called on the Minister to focus on his duties and desist from making unfounded allegations against Governor Mohammed. "The Minister should concentrate on his responsibilities and stop distracting the Governor from his duties," IPAC stated.

IPAC reiterated its support for Governor Mohammed and his administration, urging him to continue his good work despite the challenges. The Council also called on the Minister to retract his allegations and apologize to the Governor and the people of Bauchi State.

As the controversy surrounding the Minister's allegations continues to unfold, one thing is clear: Governor Mohammed's administration has made significant strides in developing Bauchi State, and his commitment to the welfare of the state's citizens remains unwavering .
