NYCN Gombe Commends FTH Gombe, Calls for Dr. Abdullahi's Tenure Extension

Gombe - The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Gombe State Chapter, has commended the Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe (FTHG) for destroying 1,087kg of expired and substandard drugs. The exercise, which took place at the hospital's incinerator, was witnessed by top officials from the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and the National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA). Speaking on the development, Mohammed Mu'azu Hina, Organising Secretary, NYCN Gombe State Chapter, praised the hospital's Management for their efforts. "We commend the Management of FTHG for this bold step," he said. "It shows they prioritize patient safety and well-being." Hina also praised the Medical Director of FTHG, Dr. Yusuf M Abdullahi, for his good work. "We call for an extension of his tenure," he added.
