Gov. Yahaya,An award well deserved:Gombe State SRC President.

The Student's Representatives Council SRC  Gombe State has facilitated with the Executive Governor of Gombe State Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya as he bagged the Sun Governor of the award.

Speaking during an interactive session with journalist in Gombe on Wednesday morning,The President of Students Representative Council CRC,Gombe State  Comrade Ibrahim Ibrahim described the award as most deserving.

According to him, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has a dozier of documented legacies since he assumes office as the the Executive Governor of Gombe State.

The award is coming is the time of the need and this not a surprise to many of us who have witnessed the tremendous progress under his watch. 

This is a reward of hard work and an honor done to our Governor,It is a recognition of track records of achievements recorded under his term as Governor. His achievements are there for all to see especially the education, health and infrastructures across the length and bread of Gombe State. They added.

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. The suspension has the endorsement of the two third majority of the members of the Students Representatives Assembly, National Union of Yobe State Students NUYOSS. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
