According to leadership archives, Leaders are those incurable optimistics who see opportunities even in the midst of pandemic rather seing obstacles.It is very true that,Some leaders choose to live inconveniently to the extent of running away far away from their confort homes to ensure their subjects and constituents get quality representation. 

This is the story of Rt.Hon. Abdullahi  Idris Garba ,a Nigerian from Kontagora Local Government of Niger State and a successful fourth term member of the Federal House of Representatives Representing  Kontagora/Wushishi/Mariga/Mashegu Federal Constituency.

Nigeria is a multi-ethnic and secular State where tribes and religion have become identities that defined our cooperate existence as a People a narratives that AIG has completely changed in his constituency.

He remain in the archives of legislatures that has written their names boldly and with gold pen in the wall of their constituents for their dogmatic courage to speak and ensure that their governed are rewarded with the best representation. He shared the magnanimity of Former Speaker Rt. Hon.Yakubu Dogara,The sagacity and capacity of Rt. Hon.Femi Bajamiala,The courage and confidence of Rt.Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal and political networks of the incoming Governor of Niger State  Rt.Hon.Mohammed Bago among to many of their contemporaries. 

His emergenced  in 2007 in the  scenes of politics of Niger State has rewrites  the history of the ugly political cards that was a fashion of practice in Nigeria where  the yearnings and aspirations of the vulnerables was only percieved.The  identity of the political discussions in Niger State has changed to the politics of competency,credibility and service delivery were the only ingredients that Pave the way for his election as a Federal Law Maker.He came with a rich experience having served as a legislator and his records of achievements as a grassroot politician to lay a solid foundation for an emerging new Kontagora/Wushishi/Mariga/Mashegu Federal Constituency. 

He was ready from day one that resulting in securing hundred of Permanent and Pensionable Federal appointments ,Employment opportunities was created through empowerment Programs,He facilitates the installation of Solar Power and through different interventions ensure that communities are connected to grids,Portable drinking water both hand Pump and Motorised were provided,he distributed numerous of food items to ease the hardships of his fellow constituents during and after the period of COVID-19 Pandemic.Township Roads,construction and remodelling of Schools as well as construction of a standard football stadium to support and encourage young are among the dossiers of the member in question. 

His stewardship in the green chamber has made him to be like a shining star among his contemporaries in the entire Northern Nigeria.This a man blessed with sound mind for been a fountain of knowledge who has raised his voice very high on issues like the banditry and insurgency that are keeping the North to its knees,

Palliative support in cash and kind to constituents.He has spoken and acted through countless interventions to the victims of crises and disasters at different dimensions,locations and events in Kontagora/Wushishi/Mariga/Mashegu Federal Constituency that has been eclipse of criminals like banditry. 

We are celebrating him today, Colleagues and brothers that we are.He never hesitated in speaking his mind in a brutally frank manner no matter whose ox is gored. He carried himself with uncommon patriotism and always ready to reach out to people no matter their backgrounds and tribal inclinations. Often times, he would insist that our good people of Kontagora/Wushishi/Mariga/Mashegu Federal Constituency must live to love themselves despite our different “tongues and tribes”, because, in his view, we are better off as a united entity than a fractured people.His recent remarks on the need to need to respect the principles of fairness,equity and Justice defined him as a worthy Nigerian who see leadership beyond the boundaries of tribes and religion. 

The greatest General that ever lived in this world, Alexander the Great, once said that he is always afraid of an army of sheep led by a lion than an army of lions led by a sheep.This tells us that leadership is not a child’s play. When we say a child’s play, we are not referring to the question of age, tribe or religion of the public office holder, but the maturity of what a person can offer and the quality he exhibits as a leader when he/she is entrusted with power. He is now the lion that is leading an Army of sheep in the North Central. 

It is a call that should remind all of us to be God fearing in our trajectories and engagements in life. His mesmerising and exemplary leadership for future generations who wish to follow the world of politics is glaring. Rt.Hon Abdullahi Idris Garba is the real definition of the Nigerian contemporary politics and it will be a wise decision to support his emergence as the Speaker of the  10th House of Representatives.An asset of his kind and nature should not allow to go at the point of elections hence the need to support Mai Sola's re-election as member of the Federal House of Representatives RepresentingKontagora/Wushishi/Mariga/Mashegu Federal Constituency of Niger State.
