Democracy day:,Youths and Students should get their PVCs: Yusuf Lawal.

The leading NANS Presidential Hopeful Comrade Yusuf Lawal wish to felicitate with Nigerians on the occasion of democracy day. He made this disclosure in Kaduna in a roundtable discussion with  Youths and students to mark June 12th democracy day. 

He called on Nigerians to use this moment as a moment of sober reflection being the last of it before the forthcoming general elections.

Comrade Lawal said that this is the time for sober reflection to choose wisely and decisively for our next leaders based on track records and antecedents and not based on sentiments. 

He equally called on all relevant stakeholders to see to the end of this strike menace that have made the minds of our students a devil's workshop for months now.

He therefore used the occasion to call on Federal Government as a matter of urgency return to the negotiation table with the Academic Staff Union of Universities to end the Current Strike that is keeping our students at home.

As we celebrates our democracy peacefully let as youths remember to come together to rescue the Current Insecurity and economic downthroden to create employment for the teaming unemployed graduates.

Nigerian youths and students constituency must ensure that they register massively to get their permanent Voters Card ahead of the next coming elections to votes leaders of their choice who will heal their wounds. 

He congratulates Nigerians and the nation on the historic June 12th democracy day celebrations and call on them to learn from good virtures of Late MKO Abiola upon who's democratic legacies democracy is celebrated. He concluded .

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. The suspension has the endorsement of the two third majority of the members of the Students Representatives Assembly, National Union of Yobe State Students NUYOSS. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
