Vandalization of Nura manu Soro Campaign facilities undemocratic: Rt.Hon. Ukkasha.

The former Speaker of the Northern Youths Assembly of Nigeria and an aspirant of Bauchi  State House of Assembly under the Platform of All Progressives Congress Rt. Hon. Ukkasha Hamza Rahama has condemned the attacks on the campaign posters and posters of Nura manu Soro. 

Speaking with Journalists on Wednesday in Bauchi  during a brief press conference held at corresponding Chappell at Reinsurance House Bauchi.  According to him continue clampdown on the opposition in the State signal a danger ahead of the next coming elections. 

He called on the State Government under the leadership of Governor Bala Mohammed to wake and deal with this menace.  He urged the Director of the State Security Services and the Commissioner of Police as well other Security agencies to wake up  to their  responsibilities to ensure that no one is intimidated on the  ground of his party. 

I want to state it here that Nura manu Soro has all the constitutional rights to contest for the  Governorship elections  in Bauchi  and doing that his fundamental  rights  should not be breach hence  the need for urgent  protection of his campaign facilities. 

Recall that Nura manu Soro has been having  confrontations with  the State Government since his resignation as Commissioner of finance at the inception of this administration.

INCREASING BAUCHI POLITICAL THUGGERY AND THE URGENT NEED TO PROTECT POLITICAL OPPONENTS IN THE STATE.BEING A TEXT OF PRESS CONFERENCE ISSUED BY RT.HON. UKKASHA HAMZA RAHAMA.

Gentlemen of the Press.

I am thrilled to address you this morning on the Delima of the increasing attacks on the opposition All Progressives Congress in the State under the watch of the People Democratic party in Bauchi State and the urgent need to call the thugs to order.

Bauchi State in history is known and described across the length and bread of Nigeria as paste setter that laid standard for politics and politicians on the direction to follow. Since inception of what is call Nigeria today,We have been at the forefront and has dominated political scenes in the country both in terms of elections and by federal appointments making us the leading States and a political tutor to others.

It is in the light of the above that as a bonified son of the State and a beneficiary of this affirmentioned School of thoughts and a leader of today see need the need to draw the attention of His Excellency the Executive Governor of Bauchi State Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed CON (Kauran Bauchi) on the urgent need to address the increasing attacks on the opposition All Progressives Congress in the State especially as we confront the National elections.

The scenes of destruction of billboards and campaign posters of Nura manu Soro PhD stand Condemned and unfortunate.This is coming at the time the said Nura has every  constitutional rights to contest whatever political seat he may deem fit according to the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Bauchians were suprised to see those who should have lead the arrest of the thugs behind the ugly terrain turn to be their leaders which no doubts spell doom for the upcoming political activities in the State hence the urgent need for the Governor to take urgent action to starblise the polity.

We are using this medium to call on the Commissioner of Police and the Director of the  State Security Services  in the State to ensure that these Political thugs behind this ugly terrain are arrested and prosecuted according to the laws of the land to serve as the detriment of others who may have similar motives. 

The wake up clap down on the opposition All Progressives in the State is condemnable by all and sundry. It should not continue to happen as the  recurrence of such will pitch the parties and the politicians against each other.The Governor as a beneficiary of opposition must protect Bauchi long ancestorial heritage where power and money does not win elections for aspirants.

To this end, Nura manu Soro as a Member of All Progressives Congress has all the moral and constitutional rights to contest for Office of the Governor of Bauchi State and on no account should as citizens keep mute while thugs are led to destroyed  his campaign materials.

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC).
