The Bauchi State House of Assembly aspirant Rt. Hon. Ukkasha Hamza Rahama has called on the People of Bauchi State to rally round behind Hon. Nura manu Soro PhD governorship aspirant to move Bauchi State forward.

He was speaking  in Bauchi shortly  after Soro distributed cars to the APC the Secretaries of All Progressives Congress in a short ceremony he organised in Bauchi.

According to him,Hon. Nura manu Soro is a kind of leader the State urgently need because of his empowerment nature  and gestures will boost the State economy.

We need his likes in our great Party the ruling All Progressives Congress to salvage the State from the current  state of economic decadence and ensure that Youths and women groups becomes self employed.

This is a man who is using his personal resources to support the indigenes and we are anticipating that with him as Governor of Bauchi  State certainly Bauchians will smile. 

I am urging the beneficiaries to ensure that the core mandates of our great Party is been sold as the 2023 general elections draws near. We need young,visionary and focus gentleman like Hon. Nura manu Soro PhD to salvage the People of Bauchi State. He concluded.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. By: John Ephraim The National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal holding at Bauchi in the matter of rerun election into the office of senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for Plateau North Senatorial District held on 3rd February, 2024 on Friday, reserved judgement in the petition filed by Yakub Muhammad Shafiu and his NNPP against INEC, Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom, ADP. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
