The Director and Chief Executive Officer of Family Trust and Care Foundation Dr. Zainab Jamilu Isiyaku Gomna (Sarauniyar Sardauna Gombe) has distributed food items, provided Financial support , Provision of scholarships ,loans and empowerment Programs to the less privileged in Gombe State and beyond.

The foundation has been empowering women and children in the areas of Health and Education Particularly by ensuring that the less privileged are been taken care of especially now that Nigerians are facing dept financial difficulties.

She has provided Financial assistance to the needy and families especially children who have lost their love ones.The recent activities of her foundation includes payment of Hospital bills to those who are recieving treatment in different hospital across Gombe State.

She has also procured a number of JAMB forms and distributed it to the needy as well as provided training materials like computers to facilitates and improve the Candidates chances of passing the exams.

Dr. Zainab is the wife of the reknown Gombe Philanthropist and Politician Jamilu Isiyaku Gomna  who has been fingered by many in and outside Gombe State as the most suitable Candidate to salvage the State from the current realities.

One of the frontline supporter and promoter of Jamilu Isiyaku Gomna aspiration in Gombe State, Honourable Hamza Ahmad Bello described the initiative as most commendable saying that it is coming at the time the people of Gombe State are facing Economic hardships.

This is the reason why the People of Gombe State are raising their voices calling for Jamilu Isiyaku Gomna to come to the rescue of the People of Gombe State in 2023 believing that the first priority of his Government will be towards uplifting the standard of living of women and children with Dr. Zainab as the first lady. He added.

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. The suspension has the endorsement of the two third majority of the members of the Students Representatives Assembly, National Union of Yobe State Students NUYOSS. By: John Ephraim The National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal holding at Bauchi in the matter of rerun election into the office of senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for Plateau North Senatorial District held on 3rd February, 2024 on Friday, reserved judgement in the petition filed by Yakub Muhammad Shafiu and his NNPP against INEC, Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom, ADP. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
