APC Youths Progressive Forum Declared Support for Comrade Edward as APC National Youth leader.

The APC Youths Progressive Forum has declared their total support for the Candidature of Comrade Edward Smart Olalekon as All Progressive Congress (APC) National Youth leader.

Speaking on behalf of the forum in Abuja, The National Chairman of the Forum Rt. Hon. Ukkasha Hamza Rahama made the disclosure in Abuja on Saturday during a roundtable discussion with some critical Youths Stakeholders of the rulling party.

According to him, Comrade Edward a Former President of the Senate National Association of Nigerian Students has all the requisite experience to drive the Youth friendly leadership if elected the party National Youth leader.

Ahead of the party's March 26th National Convention ,it is a time to take drastical decisions that will ensure sustainability of the current tempo of winning elections within the rulling All Progressive Congress by supporting Young People with great cordiality and thoughts to support the actualuzation of our mandates.

He maintains that only the likes of Comrade Edward can withstand the current challenges by repositioning the party towards the direction of the Youths to ganner more Supports to the party's victory in 2023.

We are using this medium to solicit the Support of the stakeholders and the National delegates to ensure equity, Fairness and Justice by supporting credibility to move forward the party and lift it off from the current turmoil. He added.

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. By: John Ephraim The National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal holding at Bauchi in the matter of rerun election into the office of senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for Plateau North Senatorial District held on 3rd February, 2024 on Friday, reserved judgement in the petition filed by Yakub Muhammad Shafiu and his NNPP against INEC, Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom, ADP. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
