The Nigerian Accountability and Transparency Project Lauds ICPC for Vindicating Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission Mrs Yewande Sadiku.

In a Statement signed by the Director of Communications of the Organization and made available to News men in Bauchi described the outcome of the the ICPC as timely.

The leadership of the Nigerian Accountability and transparency project NATP has commended the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offence Commission for her independent investigation Against the CEO and Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission Mrs Yewande Sadiku.

The allegations leveled against Mrs Yewande Sadiku were seen as frivolous and an attempt to batter her hard earned image considering her vindication by the  ICPC.

The development shows that the former CEO of NIPC is someone that has passion for effective service delivery and has distinguished herself with virtues character through absolute service to humanity and sincerity of all purpose.

It therefore called on those who made these frivolous allegations against Mrs Yewande to seek God forgiveness for trying to tarnish her reputation on the eyes of public.

NATP warns that other intending detractors should stay clear of Mrs Yewande as she remain God's own Project.

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
