Dalhatu hails Dimka's Declaration.

The Coordinator of the Coalition of Muslim Youths for Peace and Unity Ishaq Dalhatu has Congratulated the Senator Representating Plateau Central Hezekiah Ayuba Dimka for his official declaration to contest for the office of Plateau State Governor.

Addressing Journalist on Friday , The Coordinator described Senator Dimka's ambition as the best to have happens to Plateau State. This is a man that has done so much for the people of his Constituency in the last two years as Senator.

As you can ,our team is made of intellectuals groups of young Nigerians advocating for better leadership in the State in the next coming elections.

We are Peace Advocates that are working on Peace building in the State and beyond irrespective of tribes and religion.We have agreed to sensitize our people Particularly to shun the Politics of tribes and religion to move Plateau forward.

One thing that made us to be comfortable with the Senator Dimka is his rich experience in the areas of  Security ,he has worked for 35 years working and Protecting the lives of Nigerians. 

We are confident that if he has the chance to serve at higher capacity to that of the Governor of Plateau State, we confident that he will sustain the Policy trust of Governor Lalong of Peace and Good Governance. He added.

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. The suspension has the endorsement of the two third majority of the members of the Students Representatives Assembly, National Union of Yobe State Students NUYOSS. By: John Ephraim The National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal holding at Bauchi in the matter of rerun election into the office of senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for Plateau North Senatorial District held on 3rd February, 2024 on Friday, reserved judgement in the petition filed by Yakub Muhammad Shafiu and his NNPP against INEC, Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom, ADP. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
