The Contact Person of Almakura Campaign Organisation North East zone Rt. Hon. Ukkasha Hamza Rahama has hosted stakeholders of the rulling All Progressive Congress of the region at the end of the year dinner.

The event which took place in Bauchi inside office of Almakura Campaign Organisation North East zone. The focus of the event was to discussed issues concerning the success,progress and challenges confronting the rulling party.

Speaking to Journalist after the round table discussion, the chief host and Contact Person of Almakura Campaign Organisation North East zone Rt. Hon. Rahama described the engagement as fruitful and came at the right time.

We came here today to delebrate on how to move our party forward and to reinstate Commitment and support to Senator Umaru Tanko Almakura National Chairmanship aspiration.

It is very important as we continue to meet on a timely basis to share our methodologies and approaches as we bit farewell to the 2022.We are planning to go into the National convention very strong and come out as winners. He added.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. The suspension has the endorsement of the two third majority of the members of the Students Representatives Assembly, National Union of Yobe State Students NUYOSS. By: John Ephraim The National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal holding at Bauchi in the matter of rerun election into the office of senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for Plateau North Senatorial District held on 3rd February, 2024 on Friday, reserved judgement in the petition filed by Yakub Muhammad Shafiu and his NNPP against INEC, Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom, ADP. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
