Jotisanga Toro Unity Cup open in Toro.

The Director General Bauchi State Procurement Bureau Engr Joshua Sanga FNSE as part of his Peace building efforts in Toro Local Government council has organised a football tournament. The Tournament is tagged Jotisanga Toro Unity Cup and is featuring talents across the local Government.

According to our correspondent John Isaac,20 teams have been selected to participate in the Tournament across the 17 wards of Toro Local Government.

Engr. Sanga have been moving on this train long before joining Politics having been partners of Development throughout his life time. He has consistently provides supports for the youths to keep busy irrespective of tribes and religion as part of his Peace building process.

Interviewing one of the Participants Musa Abubakar described the gesture of the Director General as a good move to keep them busy at the time many are idle and this will assist greatly in rediscovering our talents. This is a man that has spent so much of his hard earned resources to promotes the Government of Kauran Bauchi because many feel the impact of his Government.

We shall continue to be greatful to this noble man and we shall continue to support him throughout our time. He has Proven to be a leader per Excellence in different fora and he is one of the best appointees of His Excellency Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed CON (kauran Bauchi) .

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. The suspension has the endorsement of the two third majority of the members of the Students Representatives Assembly, National Union of Yobe State Students NUYOSS. By: John Ephraim The National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal holding at Bauchi in the matter of rerun election into the office of senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for Plateau North Senatorial District held on 3rd February, 2024 on Friday, reserved judgement in the petition filed by Yakub Muhammad Shafiu and his NNPP against INEC, Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom, ADP. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
