The Bauchi State Commissioner of Police in person of CP Sylvester Abiodun Alabi, psc,mnim,fdc, has been been honoured as the most active Commissioner of Police in the North by the Northern Youths Assembly of Nigeria.

According to the outgoing Speaker of the Northern Youths Assembly of Nigeria NYAN Rt. Hon. Ukkasha Hamza Rahama described the Bauchi State Police Commissioner as the most finest and experience personal any State and the nation will be praying to have.

We have decided as under the aegis of the Northern Youths Assembly of Nigeria to recognise this viable and finest Nigerian police Officer in order to encourage him to continue to serve humanity and the nation.

The narration that police is your friend have been Proven under him since he took over as Commissioner of Police Bauchi state command and he has continued to give the Youths fair hearing whenever the needs arises.

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. The suspension has the endorsement of the two third majority of the members of the Students Representatives Assembly, National Union of Yobe State Students NUYOSS. By: John Ephraim The National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal holding at Bauchi in the matter of rerun election into the office of senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for Plateau North Senatorial District held on 3rd February, 2024 on Friday, reserved judgement in the petition filed by Yakub Muhammad Shafiu and his NNPP against INEC, Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom, ADP. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
