2023: Groups organised Special prayers for Yahaya Bello.

A Socio-political movement known as Yahaya Bello Youths and women frontiers group has today organised a Special prayers in honour of the Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello in Bauchi.

Briefing Journalist shortly after the prayers session ,the Secretary General of the group Comrade Alhasseenor Adam  said they were here to seek Allah's support as the nation National elections draws near.

The country is been face with an unprecedented Security challenges, unemployment and Infrastructural decay that need urgently God's intervention to have a better leadership in place to change the narratives.

The main reason why we converged here is to seek  our creator's guidance and protection we we take this giant step to move round the country starting with the North on the need to support the ambition of Governor Yahaya Bello.

We are confident that Nigerians will not regret to have the likes of him occupying the seat of the President of Nigeria. We are fully aware of the ongoing moves by many Political shots in the country who has hired both the print and online media to tarnish the hard earned image of the person of Yahaya Bello.

We are assuring the General public that with God all things are possible and Nigerians will surely key into this laudable project in no distance time aim at setting standard for emerging new Nigeria through the actualuzation of the Yahaya Bello 2023 Presidency. He said.

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. The suspension has the endorsement of the two third majority of the members of the Students Representatives Assembly, National Union of Yobe State Students NUYOSS. They statement barred the suspended President from the premises of the Union untill further directives while investigations are ongoing for the period of two weeks which the said leadership will issue further directives on the matter in question. By: John Ephraim The National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal holding at Bauchi in the matter of rerun election into the office of senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for Plateau North Senatorial District held on 3rd February, 2024 on Friday, reserved judgement in the petition filed by Yakub Muhammad Shafiu and his NNPP against INEC, Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom, ADP. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
