Northern Youths Assembly of Nigeria Condemned Goronyo Bloodbath .

The Northern Youth Asembly Of Nigeria ( NYAN ) canvasses for  proactive military action in dealing with the activities of terrorist hidding in the mode of bandits across the country Particularly the North Western States of Nigeria.

The Northern Youths  lamented the killings of innocent Nigerians and destruction of property by the terrorist in Gorronyo Central market of sokkoto state.The Northern Youths Assembly of Nigeria made this disclosure in Lafia during a Press Conference and the Press briefing signed by the Speaker and made available to our correspondent John Isaac.

The speaker of the Northern Youth Asembly Of Nigeria, Rt Hon ibrahim Mohammed Lawal describe the  attacked as barbaric, unacceptable, a coordinated conspiracy, dastardly act and it is  callous and inhuman, considering the high number of casualties in terms of lives lost and how the onion and catlle market is affected.

 NYAN condemns the killings for whatever reason in strong terms, as this cannot in any way solve or address the perceived problems of the attackers.

It is a coordinated conspiracy to continue with the agenda of distabilzing the economy of the region and render it a war torn zone like aghanistan.

Once more, the NYAN appeals to northern youths to remain resolute in thier zeal to help government end this terrorists.

We call on FGN to as a matter of national instrest swift into action and bring the perpetrators to book and end further attacks.

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. The suspension has the endorsement of the two third majority of the members of the Students Representatives Assembly, National Union of Yobe State Students NUYOSS. By: John Ephraim The National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal holding at Bauchi in the matter of rerun election into the office of senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for Plateau North Senatorial District held on 3rd February, 2024 on Friday, reserved judgement in the petition filed by Yakub Muhammad Shafiu and his NNPP against INEC, Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom, ADP. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
