At 63; Kauran Bauchi now a National Asset: Engr. Titus Sanga

The Director General Bauchi State Procurement Bureau Engr. Joshua Titus Sanga FNSE has Congratulated the Executive Governor of Bauchi State Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed CON (kauran Bauchi) on the occasion of his birthday.

Speaking with our correspondent John Isaac in his Office today in Bauchi, he said the celebration is for the entire people of Bauchi State and for Governor Bala nor his immediate family alone.

Governor Bala has done remarkably well in just two years as the Governor of Bauchi State and today Bauchi has become an eclipse of Infrastructural development as many could not recognise neither do they believe their eyes.

I want to tell you that His Excellency Kauran Bauchi and Jagaban Katagum remain a national asset that has all his life gave it all to the people of Bauchi State as a Senator, Minister of the Federal Capital territory and now as an Executive of Bauchi State.

We count the life of our amiable Governor as one of the blessings the Almighty God has done to us as a People of Bauchi State and to him alone we say his name is gloifry for this milestone Journey of great accomplishment of His Excellency Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed.

Engr. Sanga said Through his dogged commitment to the ideals of democracy, good governance, accountability, probity and love for humanity, Governor Bala rekindled the hope of the People of Bauchi and restored the glory of our State in Nigeria and international community.

He extols Governor Bala’s statesmanship and unwavering conviction on the unity of the country when he sponsored the historic bill of the doctrine of necessity that ended the Political crisis due to long absence of the late President Yar'adua as a result of health challenges.

That what brought former President Jonathan to be Acting President and many of these are the reasons why Bala Mohammed is described by all and sundry as detrablised Nigerian. It is the reason why people outside the State are even demanding for him to come and join the Presidential race in 2023.

He call on Nigerians to follow the suits of Kauran Bauchi to build a nation that strives beyond ecthnic religion and tribal sentiments because this is the regular encouragement of Nigerian leaders of the Governor to the Nigerians to follow the path of honour in making sacrifices that will secure the future of the country, and be remembered by posterity. He concluded.

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. The suspension has the endorsement of the two third majority of the members of the Students Representatives Assembly, National Union of Yobe State Students NUYOSS. By: John Ephraim The National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal holding at Bauchi in the matter of rerun election into the office of senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for Plateau North Senatorial District held on 3rd February, 2024 on Friday, reserved judgement in the petition filed by Yakub Muhammad Shafiu and his NNPP against INEC, Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom, ADP. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
