North West APC Youths Caucus described Almakura as an embodiment of democracy in Nigeria.

The APC Youths Progressive Forum North West Forum has described the former the Former Governor of Nasarawa State Senator Umaru Tanko Almakura an Embodiment of Nigerian Democracy. The group under the aegis of APC Youths Progressive Forum North West Caucus stated this today in Kaduna.

The Chairman  Comrade Abubakar Musa Mugaga stated during Press Conference held in Kaduna and endorsement of Senator Almakura Chairmanship aspiration describing him as the as the radar that will sustain the winning tempo of the party ahead of the next National elections.

As the All Progressives Congress (APC) sets to elect new leadership at the states and national level, the APC Youths Progressive forum North West caucus asserted that the former governor of Nasarawa State Senator Umaru Tanko Almakura remain the best option to occupy thethe Office of All Progressive Congress National chairman.

They claimed that the group reached to the conclusion of Almakura among many of his likes jostling for the same Office after a wide consultations within the party, women and youth groups and came to an agreement that Almakura would make a good chairman that could lead it to victory in 2023 elections.

Comrade Mugaga said Almakura was the only Person who won governorship election under a new political party, the defunct Congress for Progressives Change (CPC) in 2011 opining that as a founding member, he knows how to bring good political strategies for the party. 

Responding on behalf of Senator Umaru Tanko Almakura, the National Chairman of APC Youths Progressive Forum Rt. Hon. Ukkasha Hamza Rahama thank the APC Youths Progressive Forum North West Caucus appreciates them for finding him worthy of this Endorsement. He said Senator Almakura has all the requisite experience and knowledge of Governance to take the rulling APC to the next winning ways.


We are using this medium to Congratulates him for this worthy endorsement and we are calling on all the relevant groups within the rulling APC to follow suits as part of the sacrifices the Youths should be making in ensuring that the party remain a viable platform of winning elections.We have used this occasion to host our fellow Youths to a dinner while sharing ideas in a routable discussion and shared ideas to restore the party lost glory by supporting the emergence of Senator Almakura as the party next National Chairman. They said.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
