Northern Youths Consultative Initiative applauds Borno Guidance and Counseling Board urge Zullum to sustain Support.

The Northern Youth consultative initiative (NYCI)  Passed Vote of confidence to Borno State Gudiance and Counselling Board. In a Press briefing today in Bauchi by the converner Prince Mohammed Sani Hassan . According him the Board has done remarkably well in it activities especially in guiding and protecting the interest of Borno state Youths in different activities that took place recently.

The board has coordinated and organised different activities that has touches the lives of the Youths in Borno State in recent times. 
- Nigeria Custom Supplementary Recruitment Exercise 
- Nigerian Army 81-RRI
- Civil Defense Recruitment Exercise 
- State Police Recruitment Exercise 
- Empowerment And Employment Opportunities to the teeming Youths of Borno State to mention but few. 

We are using this medium to formally appreciate His Excellency the Executive Governor of Borno State Professor Umara Babagana Zullum for thinking beyond the borders by creating the board that has so so far taking a number of Youths of the streets with its Initiatives.

It is in an unarguable discussion that today this board has become the most functional not just in Borno State but the entire North Eastern region of the country. One thing that is more commendable is the Appointment of the Chairman of the Board Hon. Abba Lawan and the Executive Secretary Engr. Baba Mala Kaigama FNSE, FNICE by His Excellency.

They have shown high level of commitment and leadership potentials by dedicating their wealth of experience to this plight of ensuring that the principles for which the board was formed are greatly achieved. We are calling on all other boards within the North East and the country at large to follow suits .

Youth Representative in the Board deserve our commendation for exhibiting high level of commitment towards sustainaining the tempo upon which this board was created to achieve. Youths of his nature has make the Youths in Borno State to feel greatly the positive impact of the board not just in Borno State but the entire Northern region.This further attest to the fact that Executive Governor has the Youths at heart and his continues support to the board is critical is sustaining this very loudable Initiative.

 Nigerian Youths has been plunged into serious Criminal activities such as Kidnappings, thuggery ,rapped ,armed robbery and extremistism which are all effect of Unemployment. It is on this note that the Youths need to be carried alone as decision makers and stakeholders to solve their prolonged challenges instead been dump as refuge to been mere errand boys of the Political elites.

On our part ,we shall continue always to support all Initiatives of this nature both by private establishments and also by Non-governmental Organisations that will assist the Government at this very critical time to come up with policies and programs worth Practicable and are sustainable.

We are working towards a visit by our able members of Arewa Youths consultative Initiative to the Executives of the Board in Maiduguri to encourage them on the Job weldone. We are calling on the Youths of Borno State to rally round this brains particularly the Executive Governor and the Board Chairman along his Secretary in their doubting task of taking off the Youths from the streets. He said .

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. The suspension has the endorsement of the two third majority of the members of the Students Representatives Assembly, National Union of Yobe State Students NUYOSS. By: John Ephraim The National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal holding at Bauchi in the matter of rerun election into the office of senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for Plateau North Senatorial District held on 3rd February, 2024 on Friday, reserved judgement in the petition filed by Yakub Muhammad Shafiu and his NNPP against INEC, Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom, ADP. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
