The Chairman of APC Youths Progressive Forum Rt.Hon.Ukkasha Hamza Rahama today in Bauchi while addressing a World Press conference of the forum Members from the North East Zone reiterate their support to Senator Umaru Tanko Almakura Chairmanship.

The APC has been battling with representation unbalances prompting agitations within the party which requires experience Politicians to handle. Senator Umaru Tanko Almakura is crisis free and has all it takes to handle and resettle all upcoming issues in our party.

The Chairman of the APC Youths Progressive Forum stated that ,I deeply appreciates the vote of confidence that most of the stakeholders in our party has option for His Excellency Senator Umar Tanko  Almakura. The generous expressions of support and confidence from the members of our beloved Party towards this project aim at drumming support for Almakura Chairmanship has spoke in high volume the credibility, competency and capacity of his kind person.

After extensive consultations within the party hirachy ,women groups ,Youths associations and stakeholders within the rulling All Progressive Congress in the North East and other part of Nigeria. We come to the conclusion that, Among all those currently jostling for the office of the National Chairmanship Almakura remain the only option to salvage the party and return it to winning ways in 2023 anticipated General elections.This is because he remain the people's choice and he has done remarkably well as Governor of CPC that later metamorphosed into today's rulling All Progressive Congress. He added.

He  Congratulates the Mai Mala Buni led caretaker committee to fastract the process of the national convention as Scheduled.Therefore,I want to stressed the need for the Mai Mala led committee to fast track and ensure that the convention take place as scheduled to enable the incoming National and State executives to prepare ahead of of 2023 General elections.

He also used the occasion to call on all  eligible Nigerian voters to come out enmass to get registere as  INEC has open for registration and updating of PVC's across the country. This is the only weapon at the disposal of the citizens to express fully their power in voting candidates of their choice as the 2023 National elections draws near.

According to him , Almakura has all it takes to change the narratives in the rulling All Progressive Congress.He is one of the founding fathers of the APC and his contributions to the success of President Muhammadu Buhari administration is glaring in the eyes of the world. He is replicating same today as Senator of the Federal Republic Representating Nasarawa North.

He Condemed the Media war and campaign of collumny against the person of Senator Almakura in the last few weeks calling for the Nigerian Media to act within the lines of the law. He was a former Governor and a Federal law maker who has respect for the rule of law and will do everything to protect the constitution of the federal Republic. If the EFCC has anything against him ,he shouldn't be something we can read on the pages of the news papers. All those sponsoring this gimmicks will be put to shame soon. 

As we gear up for our party convention ,I  believes that Almakura will offer an open-door policy and I will keep to promises to be made in the course of our electioneering campaign coming soon in all the geopolitical zones of the country. He concluded.

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. The suspension has the endorsement of the two third majority of the members of the Students Representatives Assembly, National Union of Yobe State Students NUYOSS. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
