APC Youths Stakeholders Advocate for Sheriff/ North East National Chairmanship.

The Youths under the aigies of APC Youths Stakeholders Forum has Advocatted for position of the National Chairmanship of the rulling All Progress Congress to be zone to the North East zone of Nigeria.

They made this call on Sunday in Press Conference jointly signed by the Chairman of Board of Trustee Hon. Babakura Sadiq and the Convener/Chairman of the forum Prince Mohammed Sani Hassan in Damaturu the Yobe State Capital.

The statement read,You will all agree with us that, the beauty of democracy can be ensured through political parties internal democracy, this internal democracy gives an avenue to faithful party men, who have studied and believe in the caprices of good governance, its tenets, pros and cone to fly as the flag bearers of the parties at the polls.

To ensure this is achieve, stakeholders of each political parties must begin to avail a level playing ground for party faithfuls, with track records to emerge as Executives of the party, that will paddle its internal affairs, these set of Exco will no doubt ensure party supremacy and inner democracy.

You will believe with us that, the All Progressive Congress has in place these aforementioned components and features, this and other criteria made the party acceptable by virtually 78% of Nigerians within 2 years of its creation as at 2015 and brought about the possibility of an opposition party clinching the echelon government at the center.

It is pertinent to start by saluting the APC interim leadership led by His Excellency Governor  Mai Mala Buni, indeed his resuscitation agenda is yielding positive results.In the spirit of fairness and equity, we wish to call on the leadership of APC and its stakeholders to zone the Party's Chairmanship position to Northeastern zone, we believe this will promote the continuous existence of fairness and justice within the party.

 Northeast has politicians with credible track records of their performers while holding political positions, these politicians if given opportunity and level playing ground will turn the party to an Eldorado.The utmost of them is Senator Ali Sharif , the past Governor of Borno state, we are of high optimism if he is supported to assume the apex leadership position of our great party.

He will ensure internal democracy thrives, and will turn the party to an enviable one within Africa,  sen Ali Madu Sharif has the capacity,  The experience and leadership style to lead the party,  he is dedicated and committed towards the party development. We have hope and confidence that he will move the party to the next level of development without rancor or discrimination. we therefore calling on him to kick start consultation for this clarion call.

Om our part as stakeholders that has given so much to the emergence of the All Progressive Congress since inception are ever ready to purchase nomination form and galvanize support for Senator Ali Madu Sharif. They said.

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. The suspension has the endorsement of the two third majority of the members of the Students Representatives Assembly, National Union of Yobe State Students NUYOSS. They statement barred the suspended President from the premises of the Union untill further directives while investigations are ongoing for the period of two weeks which the said leadership will issue further directives on the matter in question. By: John Ephraim The National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal holding at Bauchi in the matter of rerun election into the office of senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for Plateau North Senatorial District held on 3rd February, 2024 on Friday, reserved judgement in the petition filed by Yakub Muhammad Shafiu and his NNPP against INEC, Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom, ADP. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
