Senator Almakura's Leadership and Management skills will restore the lost glory of the rulling APC: Rt.Hon. Ukkasha Rahama.
A group known as APC Progressive Youths Forum has today declared support to former Governor of Nasarawa State and current Senator Representating Nasarawa North Senator Umaru Tanko Almakura for position of National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress.
The leader and Chairman of the group Rt.Hon.Ukkasha Hamza Rahama made the submission while reading the press briefing at the Presence of Journalist at the Corresponding Chapel in Bauchi.
The Chairman and leader of the Forum cited leadership experience, loyalty, dedication and commitment to the APC policies as some of the ingredients that will gave Almakura an edge among his contemporaries gunning to lead the party to success in its quest to retain power in the next National elections.
He described him as the best and the only option to restore the party's lost glory where impunity and imposition of candidates against the wish of the teaming supporters of the party was the reasons why the its lost elections in Edo, Bauchi, Zamfara and Adamawa States.
Rahama calls on the leadership to to reconsider and give priority to the party founding fathers where Almakura who won Governorship in Nasarawa State under the Platform of Congress for Progressive change (CPC) which kick started the regrouping and formation of the current rulling All Progressive Congress.
He said APC urgently need Tanko Almakura to revive the party and return it to wining ways as the only option because of his long antecedents that gave the party wide acceptance in the North and Nigeria as a whole. People Particularly the teaming voters were able to massively support the party in 2015 because Almakura has set precedence in the party as Governor of Nasarawa State.
He used the occasion to Congratulates the APC family for reclaiming Zanfara State back and he said this tempo of reconciliation and building the party will be sustain if Senator Almakura emerge as the next party National Chairman. He concluded.
