Arewa Youths condemned Media unprofessionalism against Bauchi State.

The National President of Arewa Youths Advocate for Peace and Unity Initiative Sani Danaudi Mohammed (SDM) has expressed shocked over what he described as unprofessionalism of the Nigerian private media.He disclosed this today in Maiduguri ,As as much as freedom of speech is guaranteed and protected in the universal constitution of Nigeria upon which our democracy stands yet we must ensure restraints.

He described the purification of news mostly online by some media outlets if allow uncheck will one day plung this country into serious crisis. He added that,The news making round the internet by both local and international media outfits that Bauchi has been infiltrated by the Boko Harams kingpins from the neighboring State of Yobe days after Geidam attacked is regrettable and unfortunate.

The manner at which private own media poured the story on the Social Media was indeed nothing worth arguing that our own media are gradually becoming a treat to the ongoing fight against terrorism in Nigeria and North East in particular. This act is condemnable and we call on His Excellency the Executive Governor of Bauchi Senator Bala Mohammed to intensify more surveillance through the Security agencies to fish out the perpetrators of this evil. He said.

He further added that ,The North in recent years has become an enemy of the media who intentionally failed to report development strides in the region but rush to report incidents of crimes and criminality which has given the mindless terror groups more popularity against the State apparatus.We are therefore using this medium to call on the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) and Nigerian Broadcasting corporation (NBC) to fish out those behind this evil as mighty North is much bigger than their conspiracy.

While we condenmed very strongly the unabated killings, lost of lives and properties in the country and the North in particular, We urge the Youths to support the Government in its quest to restore the lost glory of the North through Community and stakeholders Engagements. I left Bauchi very early today in the morning and for them sent this on air without having prior knowledge at the time the Governor is hosting high and top State Security Meeting is totally unacceptable.Bauchi has been peaceful and will remain peaceful Insha'Allah.He concluded.

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. The suspension has the endorsement of the two third majority of the members of the Students Representatives Assembly, National Union of Yobe State Students NUYOSS. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
