From: John Damglong

The National President of Arewa Youths Advocate for Peace and Unity Initiative (AYAPUI) has call on the well meaning Nigerians to emulate the gesture and human capacity building of Hon. Shina Abiola Peller ,Nigerian entrepreneur, politician, Industrialist, and a Member of the 9th National Assembly and chairman and chief executive officer of Aquila Group of Companies and Club Quilox.

The President Sani Danaudi Mohammed (SDM) made this commendation in Jos the Plateau State capital in a Ramadan lecture organised Muslim Youths for Change (MYC) on Friday at Zangon Baki Conference room . He said , Nigeria is paying the supreme price of successive governments failure to invest heavily on the future of the youths making to be very easy to be recruited for violence due to iddleness. Many are suprise to see me elogissing someone far away from the South in this very important gathering and I am doing because most of us here if not all are youths.

The President commended the leadership of Muslim Youths for Change (MYC) led by Mallam Yusuf Abdullahi for organising this historic Ramadan lecture in an efforts to preach peace and unity among the diverse Nigerians. I have a similar event to attend on Monday in Gombe as parts of efforts to bridge the gap between Northern ecthnic nationalities. Considering the current state of affairs in our country then the era of using religion and tribal identities to win elections will soon be over and for one to traveled outside his region down to the North it shows high level of leadership commitment to change the fortunes of many and to school our youths never to loose hope and this is what Shina is doing. He said .

The Chairman of Muslim Youths for Change Mallam Yusuf Abdullahi Said ,the aim of this event is to bring together both Muslims and Christians together on the need to restructure our minds and emulate the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammadu S.A.W as a Panacea of building peace in the North and Nigeria in general.I want to assure that very soon Plateau State will equally have similar leadership training by lead Generation initiative because our Youths need to school urgently before the next phase of elections

Mallam Danaudi who was the guest honour in the event said ,one of the major problems of the North is lack of mentorship and you can all see how the Political elites has turned our Youths to mere Social Media agents by destroying the known culture of unity in diversity left by Sardauna and his likes .If I read always those young men calling for power retention in the North,I laugh because I know most of them are been paid to do so and to me the man who has given us platform to flourish is far away from the South West and tell me if he is not worth copying by the fellow youths. Let me tell you one thing,I am currently the local Government supervisor of Toro Local Government of Bauchi State courtesy of Shina and there thousands of young Nigerians under the same Platform across the North.

I almost lost hope in the Politics and Governance in Nigeria untill I met Shina Peller  towards the end of last year in an event organised by his foundation called the Lead Generation initiative (LGI) in Bauchi where a number of Youths where resurrected after a two days leadership training for youths of Bauchi and Gombe. Since then and with kind of leadership qualities been exhibited by this noble gentleman many Youths now see lights at the end of the tunnel despite this challenges .He should have this very Program if not because of the distance and I am assuring that these are kind of people we are currently putting forward ahead of 2023 because on our part as Youths in the North currently is where and how can have access to a Nigerian that can give us leadership. he concluded.
