Rt.Hon.Ukkasha Commended Chikaren Bauchi to finding time to Sympathize with bereaved families.

The Speaker of the Northern Youths Assembly of Nigeria Rt.Hon.Ukkasha Hamza Rahama has commended Mohammed A.Umar (Chikaren Bauchi) the custom Officer in charge of Plateau State command for identifying with the people of Bauchi State always at the time of their needs.

The Speaker made the commendation today shortly after the condolence visits by Chikaren Bauchi to Hajiya Hawa'u (Tamadina) Tijanni Suleiman Darazo ,Sani Sambo and Abdullahi Suleiman Darazo among others. The visit was aimed at condoling the family and support them during this trying moment.

Rt. Hon.Rahama made this called in a brief Media chart with our correspondent shortly after the visits of the Chikaren Bauchi to the aboved mentioned families. The Speaker pray for Departed souls to rest in Jannatul Firdausi while calling on the good people of the State to follow suit of this noble gentleman. This is what this man has been doing whenever things happen in the State.

We all know what Islam said about someone who lost one of his family member,it has been said from the holy Qur'an that anyone in a moment of grief should be supported and console during their trabulent challenges and what Chikaren Bauchi has done calls for emulation by all and sundry. The Speaker concluded.

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. By: John Ephraim The National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal holding at Bauchi in the matter of rerun election into the office of senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for Plateau North Senatorial District held on 3rd February, 2024 on Friday, reserved judgement in the petition filed by Yakub Muhammad Shafiu and his NNPP against INEC, Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom, ADP. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
