Rt.Hon.Ukkasha calls on well meaning sons of Bauchi State to emulate Chikaren Bauchi during this Ramadan.

The Speaker of the Northern Youths Assembly of Nigeria Rt.Hon. Ukkasha Hamza Rahama has commended Mohammed A.Umar a Bauchi born Nigerian and a custom Officer in charge of Plateau State command for touching the lives of less privileged during this Ramadan period.He has dedicated his life in service to the nation and humanity as countless number of youths and students are benificiaries of his empowerment and scholarships in Bauchi State.He added.

The Speaker made this disclosure today in Bauchi at his Residence where hosted some online Journalist including our correspondent John Isaac. The Speaker said , Custom officer in charge of Plateau State command has consistently and repeatedly extended this goodwill to the good people of Bauchi State particularly the downtrodden.The lives and times of Mohammed A. Umar has been placed on high esteem to many upcoming generations of Bauchi State and the country at large because of his philanthropic nature that earned him huge respect.

The Speaker while explananing to his guest the difficulty many house holds found themselves during this festive period/Ramadan due to the dangling Economy of the country calls on well meaning citizens of the State to emulate the good gesture and hands of friendship of Chikeren Bauchi (Mohammed A. Umar) .What we are doing today is part of the learning process of the goodwill gestures of Chikeren Bauchi because we are privilege to lived with him and we have learn alot.

The Speaker also used the iftar he organized for online Journalist in his residence in Bauchi to call on them to always promote peace and unity of Nigeria as there is no alternative to Peace. Speaking on behalf of the online Journalist, Musa Isah thank the speaker for finding them worthty of this breaking of fast. Rt.Hon. Ukkasha described gesture as a necessary because it will help to curb hardship been experience by Muslim Ummah due to increasing demand for food during this Ramadan period.He concludes.

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. The suspension has the endorsement of the two third majority of the members of the Students Representatives Assembly, National Union of Yobe State Students NUYOSS. By: John Ephraim The National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal holding at Bauchi in the matter of rerun election into the office of senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for Plateau North Senatorial District held on 3rd February, 2024 on Friday, reserved judgement in the petition filed by Yakub Muhammad Shafiu and his NNPP against INEC, Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom, ADP. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
