NORTH EAST NANS STAKEHOLDERS FORUM CONDENMED ATTACKED IN MAINOK AND GAIDAM BY INSURGENTS.


North east Nans stakeholders Forum condem the attacked  in Mainok,  Borno State and Geidam  Yobe state by Boko Haram /ISWAP this incidence is worrisome and we therefore call for re-strategizing war against insurgency.

The unfortunate attacked leaded to the lost Life and prosperities the Government must wake up to protect the lives and prosperities of the people and it is hight time to flush out those criminals. 

While the forum appreciate an untiring efforts. Sacrifice and commitment of the security agencies. We call on the Government to provide all the needs of the security agencies In order to succeed in the war against insurgency. 

Attacking innocent people especially while observing their fasting is not only a wickedness and barbaric but a madness that cannot be stand and justified by any logic. 

It is also clear that the insurgent are talking advantage of the Holy month of Ramadan to make life difficult for innocent people which also an obvious evident that the insurgent are operating their inhuman activities contrary to any religious teaching as they usually claimed. 

We pray may the souls of those that lost their life's rest in perfect peace

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. The suspension has the endorsement of the two third majority of the members of the Students Representatives Assembly, National Union of Yobe State Students NUYOSS. By: John Ephraim The National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal holding at Bauchi in the matter of rerun election into the office of senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for Plateau North Senatorial District held on 3rd February, 2024 on Friday, reserved judgement in the petition filed by Yakub Muhammad Shafiu and his NNPP against INEC, Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom, ADP. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
