Killings and destructions in Nigeria stand condemned: Coalition of Northern Groups

The  Chairman Board of Trustee Coalition of Northern Groups and a member of Northern Elders Forum and also a Fellow of the Institute for Crisis Resolution, Peacebuilding and Reconciliation has condenmed the recurring attacks and killings of Nigerians in all part of the country by armed men.

The Board Chairman disclosed this while briefing Journalist in Abuja this evening shortly after breaking the 14th Ramadan fast and call for Government urgent action to bring the perpetrators of this wanting crimes to justice. 

According to him , Nigeria is gradually becoming a mourning nation instead of a country that burst of formidable Economy in terms of Agriculture for  food sufficiency, Health care systems and Education that would have creates a number of Jobs.

He described the foregoing activities of these mindless and terror groups as unfortunate, regrettable and barbaric which calls for all stakeholders to join hands with Government to over this happenings in the interest of the country.

He stressed the need for collaboration between the security agencies who are also becoming the target of these criminals and the general public to get Nigeria out of its current challenges holding all of us to a standstill. 

This has been our stands always in the North because when Northerners were been killed ,we protested and detained because them we were embarrassing Government in power at the time we were foreseeing this danger the whole part of the country is paying for today. He added.

The nation has been thrown into mourning with the killings in Nigerian Military officers in Mainok Borno State and Policemen in Kebbi State, Kidnappings in the North West particularly Kaduna State that resulted to killings of some university students and in human gorusome murdered of innocent Nigerians in Zanfara State last week are among to many serious security challenges confronting the nation. He said.
  
I therefore call on the Government to as a matter of urgency deployed all machineries available to them to combat this Security breach in the country and he pray for repose souls of the Departed Nigerians who lost their lives at the lawful businesses environment.he concluded.
