The National President of Arewa Youths Advocate for Peace and Unity Initiative Sani Danaudi Mohammed (SDM) has on behalf of other Executives and the National Patron Barrister Solomon Selcap Dalung condenmed the growing insecurity in the country and calls for more urgent Government attention to secure the country. He made this Known today in Jos while attending a function organised by Coalition of Youths for good governance.

The National President while reacting to the scores of attacks across the country describe the current happenings as worrisome that is on the verge of distroying the nation institutions. The President was reacting to the recent Geidam and Mainok attacks in Yobe and Borno States by the Insurgents that lived a number of Nigerian citizens death.

The President said ,the era of making Political statements is over both from the seat of power and the opposition as as we speak no one is save any longer. It is unfortunate that today ,no Nigerian can goto bed with his eyes close for fear of been a victim of these baseless elements. Nigeria is currently been surrounded by gang of criminals from North to the South as the reports on our Security Situation is unfortunate which calls for urgent strategies to cub the growing Kidnappings and attacks in Nigeria.

The President used the occasion to sympaised with the people of Geidam, Zanfara,Borno ,Benue and Kaduna States over the unfortunates happenings ranging from kidnapping and killings of innocent Nigerians while on their lawful businesses. It is high time Mr President calls for urgent National stakeholders and youths dialogue to fashion to help the Government to come up with a National Security plan to address the current Security challenges in the country.

Sani Danaudi further elogised their National Patron Barrister Solomon Dalung for always standing on the side of the bitter truth no matter who it may please and hurt . He said ,what the North is lacking currently is the courageous men who will come out and say the truth the way it is as many are running away From the truth for either Political or religion sentiments but Solomon Dalung has always taken the bull by the horns to stand with the average Nigerians. This is why ,at this tender age we are able to discover our talents for constantly following his activism particularly his Sunday corner been stream live of Facebook.He concluded.

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. The suspension has the endorsement of the two third majority of the members of the Students Representatives Assembly, National Union of Yobe State Students NUYOSS. They statement barred the suspended President from the premises of the Union untill further directives while investigations are ongoing for the period of two weeks which the said leadership will issue further directives on the matter in question. By: John Ephraim The National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal holding at Bauchi in the matter of rerun election into the office of senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for Plateau North Senatorial District held on 3rd February, 2024 on Friday, reserved judgement in the petition filed by Yakub Muhammad Shafiu and his NNPP against INEC, Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom, ADP. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
