Women are the architects of Nigerian Society; Females Nigerian Students Lamented.From: Ezu Chika
The association of Nigerian females Students (ANFS) Ebonyi State chapter has celebrated international women day 2021 in a grand style and Sensitisation excercise across the villages of the State. The State Coordinator of the State Comrade Obioma Peace Mmuojama led other members of association on a wide State tower to encourage mostly the young women to be courageous and pursue their dreams.
Shortly after the activities ,the State Coordinator briefed Journalist in Abalaliki the State capital and our correspondent Ezu Chika reported that ,The event went successful and was a huge success for the association to have achieved this in Ebonyi State within this ample time that women need to be enlighten and encourage to follow their dreams to the logical conclusion according to the Statement accredited to the State Coordinator.
She said ,We have visited one of the rural villages on a.sensitization mission to both the old and young on the need and importance of girl child education that has been dwindling for years due to lack of.proper orientation that has caused so much gender based violence against women in the world and Nigeria in Particular. The activity was designed to ensure that this young girls and women in general are supported and encourage both by their family (husbands) and other relevant stakeholders in achieving their goals in life.
She added that women in Nigeria should be seen beyond just an house keepers and many house wives are been caged by their husbands even when they are the architects of the society and our well-being in general. many women who are even more intelligent than some of their husbands has been denied the opportunity to flourish thereby turning only to sex tools by husbands and see them as such but in our quest they deserve more than such .
Today ,The world can testified the outstanding sacrifices made by women in running the affairs of the world in General such.Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Nweala who has just been elected the first African and first female to head the world Trade Organisation WTO and Amina Mohammed is now the Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations and many other other successful women to mention. She added.
Those who made her entourage to the program were the Assistant Ekene Jacinta, Members of the Association in the State and other vibrant students from far and near witnessed this historic occasion. She praises Almighty God for his mercy towards sustainaining the them throughout such excercise and called for more collaboration between other stakeholders in championing the course of women.She Concluded.
