The Senator Representing the good people of Bauchi South Senator Lawal Yahaya Gumau has been up and doing in ensuring that education recieve the best attention in his quest to improve the standard of education in his Constituency. Education is in no doubt in a serious concerns in Nigeria particularly in the North due to negligence of successive governments and Bauchi South is not exempted from this neglect.

The Senator long before he was elected in 2018 into this exolted office overwhelmingly to Representating the Bauchi South Constituency he was a former member of the Federal House of representatives and he was elected to serve his second term in Toro Federal Constituency. He join the Senatorial race and won convincingly as his good track records of Excellence in governance has since placed him above many if not all Politicians in Bauchi South and the State at large.

I must confessed that since the administration of the former Governor of Bauchi State Mallam Isa Yuguda, the zone has not witnessed massive and transformational Development in the areas of education until recently when its recieved the desirable attention under Distinguished Senator Lawal Yahaya Gumau.The Senator has placed his named in high places with bold pen in the walls of all and sundry in the seven local Government that make up the Bauchi South.

It is in the light of the above that many have been adding their voices for him to join the 2023 Governatorual race considering giant and Developmental strides first as member Representing the good people of Toro Federal Constituency and now as Senator Representing the Bauchi South Senatorial Zone. It is a Known fact that ,the Senator has once awarded a scholarship as member of the Federal House of representatives and today the benificiaries are now self sufficient with may becoming employers of labour instead of Job seakers.

The attention the Education has been recieving under his watch is one of the many reasons the great constituents have been celebrating and calling for the entire State to support his aspiration to be the next Governor of Bauchi State. I believe with him in place many fortunes and lost glories in the education will certainly be restore. As someone who worked beyond making laws as Federal law maker to human development through his countless empowerment programs in indeed a material we cannot loose.

It is on this note that I am very much confident that he is one out of many who's service to his people and the nation is hold to high esteem . history will be kind to this noble gentleman and posterity will judge him well for been a rare germ and leader per Excellence who's name is now flipping like a gold coin in the Nigerian politics and the Nigerian Senate in particular. Bauchians are eager and are waiting to reward his outstanding his legacies and sacrifices with the exolted Office as the Governor of Bauchi State come 2023.
