Northern Youths Assembly Speaker calls for calm amidst of high-tension degenerated from Ibadan .From Musa Ibrahim

OFFICE OF THE NATIONAL SPEAKER NORTHERN YOUTHS ASSEMBLY OF NIGERIA.

(PRESS RELEASE)

RT.HON. RAHAMA CONDEMNS ECTHNIC KILLINGS OF NORTHERNERS IN IBADAN AND OTHER PART OF THE SOUTH.

The National Speaker of Northern Youths Assembly of Nigeria Rt.Hon. Ukkasha Hamza Rahama  has reacted to the  ongoing ecthnic crisis in some of the city of Ibadan where mostly Northerners have been killed .The Speaker noted with dismayed how South West region has allowed hoodlums to terrorise the region in the last few months .In the light of ongoing wanton attacks and primitive violence  in Ibadan of which Hausas are the target.

Rahama  who has assessed and sympathize with the victims of the ethnic attack called on President Muhammadu Buhari to take decisive action on the spate of violence ongoing in  some South-Western States and  gradually turning into criminality. He called on the Northern Youths to continue exhibiting restraint in their bid to sustain peace and unity in the North and by extension at large.
. It is unfortunate that while our counterparts elsewhere are fusing up from particularity to generality as a people, we are fast sliding backwards from semblance of generality to particularity as a people. Rahama disclosed.

The Speaker while answering questions in Abuja on the submission of Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State. He said he is equally on the same page with Governor Bala not because he agreed they are from the same State but the Governor has finally heat the nail on the head of both his colleagues (Governors) and the country at large.
We are battling with insurgency and banditry as a nation and here are supposed law abiding citizens unleashing mayhem on innocent citizens to compound the spate of insecurity in the country and we cannot afford another conflict. The Speaker lamented.

I am using this channel to call on you the Nigerian Journalist and President Muuammadu Buhari to take a decisive step towards ending the ethnic profiling of the Fulani tribe in some parts of the country which is now graduating to include the entire Northern communities especially in the Southern part of the country. This bad narratives must urgently stop because the constitution has given all Nigerians the right to live in all part of the country without been intimidated. I am planning to organise a strong media pally with Journalist, youths and students soon in Kaduna to discuss the way forward of Nigerian Unity that is so divided along ecthnic, religion and Political lines especially as the South are agitating for power shift in 2023 .This happenings will in doubt diminish the efforts of some prominent politicians in the southern part jostling for the office of the President as the hoodlums they allowed has already ignite the North and the South if we don't ensure restraint. He concluded.
