AREWA YOUTHS CONSULTATIVE GROUP CALLS FOR NATIONAL COHESION AMONGST NIGERIANS.From: Isa Ali Jos

Today, the All Progressive Congress Northern Grassroot Ambassadors, find it pertinent to address the media on a burning issue that affect the generality of Nigerians.

It is imperative to note that Nigeria founding fathers have worked assiduously towards putting this country on a greater height, this is seen through their exemplary lives, a live worth living and worthy of emulation.

Unfortunately today, the foundation laid by these great heroes is at the verge of irredeemable decimation by some ethnic and religion bigots who have little or no knowledge about the history of Nigeria as a nation.

The attempt by these bigots, fanning the embers of crisis using ethnic coloration, call for serious action from the side of those in the helm of affairs this nation.

This country is govern by a written law popularly known as constitution, the constitution empowers Nigeria citizens to live wherever they felt it is suitable and comfortable for them.

The recent action of Sunday Igoho and his likes remain condemnable, actions of such magnitude will lead Nigeria to a state of anarchy, we therefore call on him and his fellow cohort across Nigeria to desist from unleashing mayhem on innocent Nigerians lawfully carrying out their legitimate means of survival.

Government at all level must do whatever it takes to protect and unite Nigerians as it is more glaring that, the ethnic division is increasingly deteriorating and this may eminently lead us to ethnic bloodbath.

As grassroot Mobilizers and Ambassadors, we shall kick start an awareness campaign on the importance of national cohesion, we call on well meaning Nigerians to join us on this stride.

Bappare Mohammed.
National Convener.
