Rt.Hon. Rahama calls on Nigerians to rally behind Governor Wike .From: Ahmed Isah

The Speaker of the Northern Youth Assembly of Nigeria Rt.Hon. Ukkasha Hamza Rahama  has commented Barr.Nyeson Ezenwo Woke the Executive Governor of Rivers State for his developmental strides in Rivers State.

The Speaker made this known in a a media interaction with news men in Kaduna on Wednesday .He said ,I anyone who knew Rivers State before and now can authoritatively confirm to you that Governor Wike has done and is doing wonders in Rivers State .

Rt.Hon. Rahama further described Governor as a man of peace who has within a shortest possible time made Rivers State as a safe heaven to all Nigerians by institutionalising Security network that ended crimes in the City of Port Harcourt and beyond .One thing about Governor Wike's leadership qualities is his ability to work with all irrespective of party affiliations ,We have seen off recent how he hosted former Governor of Imo State Rochas Okroacha and other APC stalwarts in Port Harcourt Rivers State. This spoke his passion for one Nigeria and building boundaries of peace beyond religion and party lines for the sake of Nigeria and Nigerians.

The speaker further elugised Governor Wike as a detrabalised Nigerian for making Rivers State a home second to none to all and sundry irrespective of tribes and cultural backgrounds .We all saw how Governor Wike managed the endsars protest by ensuring that lives and properties were not lost when hoodlums hijacked the protest which spoke in high volume the credibility of Governor Wike's leadership commitment.

Governance is about government presence and certainly Rivers State people took the rightful decision by ushering in Wike as their Governor because within the shortest possible time the State is now the country's mini Dubai .It is not this note that ,I strongly believed that the likes of Wike can without any political, religion and tribal consideration Nigeria will be great under his watch. He added .

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. The suspension has the endorsement of the two third majority of the members of the Students Representatives Assembly, National Union of Yobe State Students NUYOSS. By: John Ephraim The National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal holding at Bauchi in the matter of rerun election into the office of senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for Plateau North Senatorial District held on 3rd February, 2024 on Friday, reserved judgement in the petition filed by Yakub Muhammad Shafiu and his NNPP against INEC, Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom, ADP. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
