North East NANS stakeholders forum calls for more capacity building among the stakeholders of the region to rescue the from: Nasiru Musa

The North East far behind in term of infracturactural development infracturacture and our political leaders have failed us though only few of them are active by sharing their great concern toward the development of the region.  

We shall soon begin to pass vote of confidence to those that are active and vote of non confidence to those that are in active.  We want them to know,  as students and youths leaders we will not fold our arms to keep quite when things are going abnormal.  They are representing us at the National level therefore it is their responsibility to unite themselves for the progress of the region.  

It is only the North's East Governors that are more concern with the region. We begin raise so much concerns if we have Minsters, Senators,  Member of the  House of representatives,  federal permanent secretaries from the North East region.

We can authoritatively said that only few senators and members house of representatives are concern about the region like Senator Kashim Shetima,  Senator Ali Ndume,   Hon  MT Monguno chief whip of the House, Hon Ahmad Usman Jaha Babawo,  member Representing Damboa/Gwoza/Chibok Federal Constituency,     Hon. Aliyu Muktar Betara member Representing ,Biu/Bayo/Shani/Kwaya Kusar Federal Constituency, Hon Zainab Gimba. 

We thank and appreciate them  for standing firmly with the region during this trying moment and only two out of all the ministers of the North East are contributing towards restoring the lost glory of the region .The Hon Minister of Education Mallam Adamu Adamu and Dr. Sheirk Isa Ali Pantami Communications and digital Economy.

As well as our leader and brother Comr. Mustapha Salihu former North East National Vice Chairman APC  we also Thank him  for standing with the youths and students of North East. 

This is the time for all our political leaders,  business men,  top civil servants,  actiavivies  to come together rescue the region from the current slumber.

On our part as leaders of students wing from the region ,We shall not left any stone unturne when we comes out to  address issues and make our possition known on issues affecting our zone. The spokesman of the forum Prince Mohammed Sani Hassan  made this calls and clarifications in Bauchi state while attending a dinner program organised by North East youths for progress. He said,If someone sticks by your side through your worst times, then those are  the ones who deserve to be with you through your best times.

In his conclusion remarks ,He said our responsibility to make sure our leaders are doing the necessary and what is expected of them as leaders and as stakeholders of the youth wing together we can work towards the sustainability of peace in the North East that has paid so much in the last 11 years due to failure of the system and the authorities saddle with the responsibilities of protecting lives and properties to do the needful.

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. The suspension has the endorsement of the two third majority of the members of the Students Representatives Assembly, National Union of Yobe State Students NUYOSS. By: John Ephraim The National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal holding at Bauchi in the matter of rerun election into the office of senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for Plateau North Senatorial District held on 3rd February, 2024 on Friday, reserved judgement in the petition filed by Yakub Muhammad Shafiu and his NNPP against INEC, Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom, ADP. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
