The senator Representing the good people of Bauchi Central Sen. Haliru Dauda Jika (Dokajin Bauchi) was today visited Toro Local Government area of Bauchi State where he distributed items worth millions of naira to Christians faithful ahead of 2020 Christmas celebrations . Items distributed includes two Jarcans of groundnuts oil ,two Jarcans of Palm Oil ,50 pieces of Rappers ,50 pieces of Shadda and 20 bags of Rice after similar gesture in Dass ,Bogoro ,Tafawa Balewa and Baucchi local Governments.

The Senator was Represented by a reknown Bauchi Politician Hon. Ibrahim Yusuf Champion popularly known as Dan Isibulle at the event which took place in Ecwa Church Tilden Fulani with all the representatives of all the Christians denominations in attendance . Speaking on behalf of the entourage ,Hon. Ibrahim Yusuf Champion said ,the Senator sees the need to identified with the vulnerable Christians during this festive season in order to make the celebration a fruitful one to all irrespective of status at the time that prices of items are high in the Market .

Receiving the items on behalf of the other members ,the CAN chairman Rev. Istifanus thank the Senator for remembering them at the time some most especially the vulnerable ones are struggling to have food on their table . The Rev. Father described Sen. Jika's Leadership style as the best that can happen to Bauchi State and the country at large . We are calling on other politicians of his kind to emulate this noble Personality because none of us here voted him in to office but he has traveled all the way from Bauchi Central to all the local Governments in Bauchi to identified with the needy making the first Serving Political Office come up with this laudable initiatives. We will continue to support and pray for him at all times whenever the need arises. He concluded.

The Speaker Northern Youth Assembly of Nigeria Rt. Hon. Ukkasha Hamza Rahama said as a leader of Youths organization, We shall continue to identify with Political Office holders who at all times has chosen the youths ad their constituency . As you Sen. Jika is one of the young and energetic politician we have in Bauchi State who have been working tirelessly to ensure youths inclusion in government . What he had done today is a welcome development because these items here are enough to justify his capacity to lead beyond Bauchi Central in the next coming Gubernatorial elections come 2023 .He disclosed.

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. The suspension has the endorsement of the two third majority of the members of the Students Representatives Assembly, National Union of Yobe State Students NUYOSS. By: John Ephraim The National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal holding at Bauchi in the matter of rerun election into the office of senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for Plateau North Senatorial District held on 3rd February, 2024 on Friday, reserved judgement in the petition filed by Yakub Muhammad Shafiu and his NNPP against INEC, Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom, ADP. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
