The leadership of the Northern Youths Assembly of Nigeria has condemned in strong terms the dubious actions of Sara Suka Gang in Kofar Dumi  Bauchi metropolis yesterday.The Speaker Rt. Hon. Ukkasha Hamza Rahama while reacting to the saddened event by the group this evening in Bauchi said it is unfortunate that those who willingly gave their life and comfort in ensuring the security of lives and properties are becoming targets of attack by the Sara Suka Gang .The speaker described the attacked on the vigilante in Kofar Dumi area of Bauchi metropolis yesterday night by the group of Sara Suka Gangs that left more than nine members of the vigilante severed injured while a car meant for conveying of corps burned to ashes  as barbaric and regrettable .Rt. Hon. Rahama who has for decades been a strong voice and Pilar for the Youths in the Northern Nigeria call for urgent security measures by Bauchi State government under Sen. Bala Mohammed in order to curtail what he described the era of Sara Suka that was wipe out in the State. It is very unfortunate that those who offered themselves to assist in the Security of our communities will be attack by some gang of criminals. He therefore call on the Security agencies in the State to ensure arrest of these criminal elements and to bring them to justice so that it will serve as detriment to other criminals with similar motives .The Speaker strongly advocate for more prompt action by the government in the State to curtail further disruption of lives and properties as well as to protect the citizens from been attack by these mindless elements called Sara Suka .

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. The suspension has the endorsement of the two third majority of the members of the Students Representatives Assembly, National Union of Yobe State Students NUYOSS. By: John Ephraim The National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal holding at Bauchi in the matter of rerun election into the office of senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for Plateau North Senatorial District held on 3rd February, 2024 on Friday, reserved judgement in the petition filed by Yakub Muhammad Shafiu and his NNPP against INEC, Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom, ADP. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
