NOTHERN YOUTHS ASSEMBLY CONDEMNED THE KILLINGS OF BORNO FARMERS .From Usman Bukar

The Speaker of Northern youth Assembly condemned in strong terms the spade of killings in the North urging government to do more in protecting the lives and properties of Nigerians .

Rt. Hon. Ukkasha Hamza Rahama made this known to news journalist in Bauchi on Sunday Morning .He described the killings of 43 farmers in Borno State by Boko Haram kingpin as Barbaric and call on the nation Security agencies to take more actions against the activities of these terror groups.

The speaker commended the effort of the Borno State Governor for standing with his people during their most trying moment and described Professor Zullum as an excellent leader who is given the good people of Borno State the best they deserved.

Rt. Hon. Ukkasha further call on President Muhammadu Buhari to as a matter of urgency look at the faces of the Northern children who's parents are been butchered on daily basis and making their future more complex thereby constituting a security treat for the future generation .

He said ,as leader of the youth group we shall continue to speak and make our voices heard until the right thing is done .

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. The suspension has the endorsement of the two third majority of the members of the Students Representatives Assembly, National Union of Yobe State Students NUYOSS. By: John Ephraim The National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal holding at Bauchi in the matter of rerun election into the office of senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for Plateau North Senatorial District held on 3rd February, 2024 on Friday, reserved judgement in the petition filed by Yakub Muhammad Shafiu and his NNPP against INEC, Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom, ADP. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
