WAKILIN BIRNIN BAUCHI AGRICULTURAL EMPOWERMENT A GOAL FOR FOOD SUFFICIENTCY : RT. RAHAMA

The member representing Bauchi federal constituency in the national Assembly Hon. Shehu Yakubu Abdullahi who holds the title of (Wakilin Birnin Bauchi) for his service to the humanity and the good people of Bauchi State at large. The member was applauded by his constituents including his secretary who double as the speaker of the Northern youths Assembly of Nigeria Rt. Hon. Ukkasha Hamza Rahama for his resourcefulness in creating numerous opportunities when he served as member representing Bauchi constituency.

Rt. Hon. Rahama described his principal as the servant of the people who's outstanding performance and legacies spoke for him when he contested on the platform of People Redemption Party (PRP) and won convincingly which attested the confidence the good people of Bauchi federal constituency has on him .He spoke in Abuja when he granted an interview with team of journalist in Abuja where he applauded his principal for key in to the agricultural programs of President Muhammadu Buhari .

He said ,Wakili represents one of the largest constituency in Nigeria but yet despite the high population he has done excellently well as member of the state Assembly and now as member of the house of representatives. He described the choice of Wakilin Birnin Bauchi as the best that ever happened to Bauchi federal constituency especially his passion for the development of Agriculture that vast majority of his constituents engaged in .

The Northern youths speaker applauded the wonderful sacrifices of the member for distributing items worth millions to mostly subsistence farmers to ease their hardship especially now that such farming items are costly in the market . I can confidently tell you that with what you have seen today ,Bauchi will serve as a local exporter of food next year due to the expected bumper harvest likely as result of Agricultural empowerment within the constituency been the largest in Bauchi state by the member,he added .

He finally pray for the success of the member whom he described as one of the  people friendly politician in Bauchi state and the country at the moment .As someone who I worked closely as his secretary, I am confident that in the next four years and with this agricultural empowerment by him then our constituency will be an employer of labour ,he concluded.

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. The suspension has the endorsement of the two third majority of the members of the Students Representatives Assembly, National Union of Yobe State Students NUYOSS. By: John Ephraim The National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal holding at Bauchi in the matter of rerun election into the office of senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for Plateau North Senatorial District held on 3rd February, 2024 on Friday, reserved judgement in the petition filed by Yakub Muhammad Shafiu and his NNPP against INEC, Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom, ADP. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
