• Ganjuwa/Darazo is one of the 360 delianated federal Constituencies in the National  Assembly that is Represented by one of the frontline young Political stars in Nigeria.  Manu Soro is an aspiring  young Nigerian upcoming Political leader this generation desperately needs to rally round (MMS) as he is been called by his Constituents . MMS is a member of all progressive Congress that served the Bauchi state governement during the administration of the immediate past Governor of the state M.A Abubakar as SA on social investment created an iniative of the federal government to reduced hardships been experience by Nigerians most especially the vulnerable ones.  Mansur is the son of the reknown Ganjuwa reknown and successful business man Alh. Manu Soro of blessed memory who until his death laid a solid foundation and gave MMS an adequate training a gesture the good people of Ganjuwa/Darazo, Bauchi State and the nation are reaping . Allah ya Jikan Baba .

The emergence of this young and passionate young chap into Nigerian political space has open new pages of discussion both in his home state of Bauchi and the country at large most especially his good track records of excellence in the last one year. The old fashion of Nigerian Politics that was built mainly on ages has been broken by MMS who's wonderful performance has since relegated the old age with the youths believing that it is only one of them that can do it . Many from his Constituency and the state were more than confidence that MMS will be a geneus in the circle of nation Politics if he has the mandate since he has taken even his critics by surprised when he served as SA social investment to HE. MMS has change the fortunes of many young and old women in Bauchi State and has restore hopes to the hopeless ,the unemployed has become the employers of labor , students who gave up in their Educational pursued due to ravaging poverty found themselves in different institutions of learning , numerous empowerment programs to women and youths , incentives to the old ages to catered for their needs among numerous to mention that pages cannot contain. In short MMS has restore the confidence of the Nigerian youths with strong conviction that for this country to move to its developmental level then youths must take the herm of affairs of their country with MMS expensive narrative been sold for free both on  online and print media across the country.

The writer title this piece rescue mission to pave way for readers to understand upon all the disappointments and experience we have from other Politicians yet there are greater hope when focus minded personalities are in charge . It has become a norm that trust never and hardly exist between the Electorates and the Political leaders due to continues failed promises despite billions of allocations as Constituency projects but with the discovery of the likes of MMS no doubt better days ahead. The writer of out of his busy schedules is able to document few key areas that received attention in the first year of MMS stewardship as member representing the good people of Ganjuwa /Darazo federal Constituency in Bauchi State and has since written the name of this young noble personality with a gold pen for the unborn generations to read how he laid a foundation for the development of his area just the late founding fathers did for Nigerian.

It will take us and the readers the whole year narrating how MMS changed and restored lost hopes in Darazo/Ganjuwa federal Constituency in just one year but due to time and other logistics ,we are sharing this with you as the first part while you awaits the second part that will capture others missing in this episode.

EDUCATIONAL INTERVENTION

.Disburse bursaries to 212 students of Darazo/Ganjuwa studying in various institutions of learning. 

.Sustained engagement of stakeholders in bid to increase retention and completion of Basic education. 

.Paid school fees to more than 100 dropped out of school pupils in Soro Community. 

.Prioritize Bursary payments to students reading Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture and Mathematics.

.Secured admission to over 300 students of Darazo/Ganjuwa to various institutions of learning. 

SPONSORED MOTIONS .

.During the National Assembly meeting (Lower Chamber), MMS was able to move the following motions regards to Education

.Needs to eradicate destitution and remove beggars from Nigerian street through provision of standardized education system and improved.

.Needs to improve budget formulation and implementation in Nigeria and to return Nigeria to January – December budget cycle. 

.Needs to repair infrastructure damaged by ecological problems in Darazo/Ganjuwa Federal Constituency and to prevent further loss of Nigerian Lives and properties. (Soro – Ganjuwa Village – Miya – Zara Road, Lanzai – Papa Road, Dabe – Nasarawa Road, Yautare – Tauya Road and Soro – Gungura – Shila Road).

  WOMEN AND YOUTHS EMPOWERMENT

.Disbursement of N 10,000 to 2,205 women from 441 polling units of Darazo/Ganjuwa Federal Constituency.

.Distributed empowerment items such as; 100 Grinding Machine, 100 Solar Inverters 18V 150W, 100 HP ELEPAQ Generators, 100 Hajua Jincheng Lucky Motorcycles and 100 Vulcanizing machines.

.Trained and Empowered 25 Personal Assistants (P.As.) with N 10m in grant and commuter vehicles and motorcycle. 

WELFARE SCHEME

.Donated relief materials and foo stuff to the victims of fire outbreak in Sawi, Nasarawa Ward.

.Donated food items to the victims of water disaster in Bagudu, Yautare Ward.

.Initiated and financed the training of 3,500 women in his constituency on oil milling

.Distributed 50 Cows, 40 Rams and other materials during Eld-El Kabir as Package among members of his constituents.

.Purchase a big hectare of land amounting to 3.4 million at Soro Cow Market.

.Purchased 2 Land for Eld-El (Sallah) in Soro Community

.Donates different sets of Rappers to those that went for Qur’anic competitions in Darazo.

.Donated more than 200 bags of cements for the repairs of Bridge along Siyi - Nasarawa in Nasarawa ward.

.Donated 100 bags of cements towards the ongoing construction of Konkiyel Village Central Mosque in Konkiyel ward.

.Donated 6 Galaxy Sharon Car to his aids.

.Donates 4 motor B Motor Cycles and 12 Car Go Boxer motorcycle. 

.Donation of 16 Bundles of Zinc for the completion of Yalwan Darazo Central Mosque. 

.Donation of 30 Amia packages of Omo to Miyawa ethnic group during their circumcision festival.

.Purchase of Five (5) bundles of Zinc and Waya S5 at Soro and also 11 bags of Cements/2 Bundles of Zincs to the great people of Lanzai Ward.

.Purchase of 300 blocks and 100 bags of cements for the building of mosque in Konkiyel Ward.

. Distribution of Ramadan/Covid-19 emergency food response to poor and vulnerable in Darazo/Ganjuwa Federal Constituency of Bauchi State to 5,000 Beneficiaries across 22 wards. 

PROVISION OF PORTABLE DRINKING WATER

.Repairs 102 Handpump Boreholes in different communities of Darazo/ Ganjuwa Local Government Areas.

.Drilling and installation of micro-grid solar powered water system to Sade, Darazo, Soro, Kafin Madaki, and Miya town.

SECURED FEDERAL APPOINTMENTS/AIDES

.Appointed Alh. Saidu Isah Sade as his Senior Legislative Aid

.Appoints 20 Personal Assistant which will be paying them on monthly basis and is from his personal entitlement.

.Secured Federal appointments to several people from his constituents.

HEALTH CARE INTERVENTION

.Constructions of Pediatric Clinics at Sade, Gabarin, Soro and Miya town in Ganjuwa and Darazo LGA respectively.

.Constant settlement of hospital bills to the members of his constituent.

. Construction of maternity Clinic at Shila village in Ganjuwa LGA of Bauchi State.

Purchase of 400 rubber buckets and 400 packets of Septol cool soap for the hand washing as prevention against Covid-19.

Wards of excellent presented to him by the Officials of National Social Investment for his effort in engaging over 700,000 beneficiaries while heading Social Investment.

.A Bill for an act to amend the Fiscal Responsibility Commission (establishment) act 2007 to empower the commission to stem the huge cost associated with budget delay through efficient budget cycle management and automation of budget formulation process at the federal level and ancillary matters.  

.A Bill for an act to establish Federal College of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Konkiyel, to provide part-time and full-time courses, teaching science and to provide for the appointment of the provost and other offices of the college to carry our administration and discipline of students of the college and for related matters.

.A Bill for an act to establish the Federal Polytechnic (Technical) Wailo, Ganjuwa, Bauchi State to provide full time courses in Technology, applied sciences management and other field of studies and to make provision for the general administration of such Polytechnic.

This is what has been missing decades ago from our political leaders/elites who abandoned their electorates soon after winning elections and return once after the expiration of their tenure but with MMS the story is a positive one in our nation Political history. These few young Nigerians that has prepared themselves for leadership roles and as youths they will serve as banners and pillars that will restore the lost confidence of electorates on their leaders .I am confident that MMS and his likes then another President Muhammadu Buhari is born in Ganjuwa and certainly the future Nigerian President is right here in Ganjuwa/ Darazo federal Constituency.
