We should be cautiuos while Observing our obligations - Shehu Gabam

The national Secretary of SDP Alh Shehu Gabam has called on Nigerians to observe the precautions and safety measures recommended by the medjmed expert to reduce the widely spread of the pandPandof covidCOV in Nigeria .He said it is a time of national cohesion to combat the global disaster and also pray for the quick recovery of the Governor of Bauchi State and other Nigerians currently been infected by the virus.

He said ,It will be a new experience to many of us while observing for the first time Juma'at prayer from our homes in our life time but with strong conviction and believes from the owner of the universe that nothing comes from somewhere except he made it to happen . The misconceptions will be to many but it is only when we agreed that our prophet Muhammad SAW has asked his fellows to pray from home if there is heavy rainfall and a fellow should not be in Congressional prayers if such fellow is in contact with garlic .This and many other cited references in the Holy Qur'an are enough reasons for us to respect the Experts in the medical field even though death is inevitable and all must taste death.

He explained further that ,The same Holy Qur'an that prophesized death as something none can escape is the same recommends precautionary measures to avoid destinating the virus among other fellows.We shall continue to sensitize the general public on the COVID-19 Pandemic currently raverging the world as a panacea of reducing greatly the widely spread of the virus in Nigeria .As a Nigerian , We will do our part by helping the few we can at this trying moment while govenment will continue to do its part in the face of this global disaster that has taken the centre stage of the world today .It is on this note that my profound prayers are with the Governor of my home state of Bauchi Sen. Bala Mohammed CON and all those tested positive of this virus and equally is our responsibility to identify with these Nigerians who never wish to be victims but circumstances made it .

He concludes by ,We can only solve a problem we know and we must without prejudice agree that Corona virus is real but a call for complete submission to the will of Almighty Allah while observing precautions to reduce the spread . Nigerians may and can hardly survive through this hard times due to shortage of food that inversibly make it very difficult for the total shut down though at the moment it remains the only option with no choice .May Almighty Allah S.W.A in his Mercy grand us favour and wipe out completely this Pandemic Ameen.

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. The suspension has the endorsement of the two third majority of the members of the Students Representatives Assembly, National Union of Yobe State Students NUYOSS. By: John Ephraim The National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal holding at Bauchi in the matter of rerun election into the office of senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for Plateau North Senatorial District held on 3rd February, 2024 on Friday, reserved judgement in the petition filed by Yakub Muhammad Shafiu and his NNPP against INEC, Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom, ADP. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
