Hate speech and anti-social media bills are inevitable
Corona virus was discovered in the Republic of China some months back and now here it is at our door steps that whether we like or not the victims are you and I . What is suprising is the manner some Nigerians have taken this deadly disease for granted without giving a special eye to the current happenings in countries like Italy , USA , Republic of China, Republic of Germany , Spain , UK,The kingdom of Saudi Arabia,Iran and other to many to mention countries of their likes with world class medical facilities and well trained personnel crying for help . To some Nigerians ,It is a time to play politics and religious cards instead of accepting the fact that we are been face with a disaster globally that is gradually reducing our population from over 7bn to an unknown number .
I write not because it is the only choice for me for now to call the attention of many ignoramus who think locally and are acting globally .Many redundant who represent nothing with no real future to celebrate the outcome of some results of many samples particularly those of few of our leaders that our religion told us to stand and pray for . The Executive Governor of Bauchi State Sen. Bala Mohammed CON and Chief of staff to the President were among the prominent Nigerians tested positive for this deadly disease called COVID-19 and all these noble need from all who has great vision is prayers as none of us is above this Pandemic . These are personalities who's profile has gone high and they have lived and our attitudes towards their state condition of health tell more about the future of Nigeria . The situation we found ourselves globally with Nigeria inclusive calls for drastic measures that should be supported by all and sundry during this disaster that require our collective consience .
I read with total dismayed how some elements have took into social media fabricating stories that Mallam Abba Kyari the chief of staff to the President and the President himself has been secretly flown out of the country while Mr President is busy in his office trying addressing the national disaster .The second distorting story is that Bauchi State House of Assembly are planning to impeach the speaker of Bauchi State House of Assembly at the time politics of all kind are kept and buried while all citizens of the state and the nation in general are looking up to Almighty Allah to combat this deadly disease called Corona virus. It is heart breaking and highly disappointing at this time of national disaster that require our collective consience some will comfort to play politics of ignorance and religious cards . I want to call the attention of the good people of Bauchi State that those calling or having a secret meeting to impeach the speaker are nothing but backing dogs and Political errand boys of the already defeated horse . This act has further exposed our common enemies both in the state and the nation at large . I played and listened to an audio going round on Social Media and I don't even waited for any govenment Official to make any clarification having known that may be the work of our common enemies .
Personally, I don't there is no furious news left to me unread about Mr President since he assumed office in 2015 . Many openly celebrated his death at the time he was in UK hospital and many today will even tell you that the COVID-19 is his invention. One cannot and never escape from this when you find yourself in the shaddow of hypocrites of order one who has turned Nigerian into a political ground guided by religious and ecthnic sentjmsent . It is so sad while Mr President is having a sleepless nights working to ensure that our country is save some mischievous elements and miscreants are busy faking news to feed their illed followers of likeminds .There is need to control the manner we fabricate stories and it is the time we support anti-social media bill.
It has been proven further that we seem to be the architect of our problems with this latest saddened events in Bauchi State and the nation . I now see reasons why hate speech bill is inevitable if not so many criminals will be sitting on the fence and some in their confort rooms to set us on fire . Those behind the rumour that Mr President and his chief of staff has been flown abroad secretly and those behind another dead on arrival rumour that the Bauchi State speaker will be impeach are nothing but bunch of halots as Bauchi and Nigeria continue to flourish under Bala Mohammed and President Buhari Insha'Allah. We are with our Governors and our president at this time of trials and anything short of this totarmount to one level as an unpatriotic minds because wishing Mr President death and planning evil against Mr Speaker is the highest hypocrisy of the century .
