Breaking news : Jaafar Jaafar loses Mother

The Nigerian and Kano born veterant Journalist Jaafar Jaafar who is the founder and publisher of an online magazine daily Nigerian has lost his mother today.

The Journalist was qouted in his daily Nigerian an online magazine saying;
Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihir raji’un. I lost my mother today. Janaza to be held now at Sabon Titi, Kwanar Gidan Kankara.

The management of Tildetimes sympathized with the veterant Journalist and his family over this irreplaceable lost .May Almighty Allah grant her Jannatul Firdausi Ameen.

Comr. Auwal Suspended from office as National President,Yobe State Students.

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has announced the suspension of its national President Comr. Auwal Gambo Salisu with immediate effect due alleged blackmail, bribery, corruption and money laundering. In a letter signed by the Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Maina Isa , the speaker of the Yobe State Students Representatives Assembly and the clerk of the Assembly Comrade Yusuf Lusa (CP) and made available to newsmen in Damaturu. The suspension has the endorsement of the two third majority of the members of the Students Representatives Assembly, National Union of Yobe State Students NUYOSS. They statement barred the suspended President from the premises of the Union untill further directives while investigations are ongoing for the period of two weeks which the said leadership will issue further directives on the matter in question. By: John Ephraim The National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal holding at Bauchi in the matter of rerun election into the office of senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for Plateau North Senatorial District held on 3rd February, 2024 on Friday, reserved judgement in the petition filed by Yakub Muhammad Shafiu and his NNPP against INEC, Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom, ADP. Yakubu H. Ruba SAN Lead Counsel for the Petitioners The Petitioners approached the tribunal challenging the declaration of Dachungyang Pam Mwadtkom or 2nd Respondent by INEC (1st Respondent) as the winner of the rerun election. The main ground upon which the petition is predicated is that the 2nd Respondent as of the time of the election, was not qualified to contest the election having allegedly presented a forged certificate to 1st Respondent (INEC). The Petitioners are alleging that the 2nd Respondent in Form EC9 deposed that he obtained FSLC in 1975 and SSCE in 1982.
